Percy's pov-

"I can't do this Perc." Says Nico. He is standing in front of my mirror in my old room, at my mom's place. Annabeth convinced Nico to ask Will, which he said yes to; while Nico is here in my old room, scared shit-less and is slowly losing his mind.

Annabeth is currently getting Will ready in our apartment. Nico hated being separate from him. Even though they are as different as day is to night, they still are practically perfect for each other.  Once Will had healed Nico back from the dead,

"Nico you will be fine. I know you two aren't dating yet, but you have been on dates before. All you need to do right now is calm down a little." I say trying to sooth him.

Nico's POV-

(((((((Flashback)))))))))

I watch as mist and sun mix into a rainbow. I quickly toss a coin into the water and say the enchantment before I can chicken out. In a matter of moments I see the boy I have, ever so slowly, been falling in love with. Will.

"Hey Will," I say quietly. His back is to me, so at first I don' think he heard me. Although, soon enough I see him turn around with a gigantic smile playing on his lips.

"Hey Nico! How was you first day of high school? Is it as scary as everyone thinks?" He asks. I smile, slightly. Normal Will, always wanting to make sure he asks everything about your day so you can never be upset that you didn't get the chance to say something that was on your mind all day.

"It was pretty good. Nice to see Percy and Annabeth after a while. But um, hey there is a special reason that I had IM you..." I faded out at the end not knowing how to ask him. Its not that I was scare to do it or to be seen with him in public. We have done it before and hadn't had that many problems with people and us being gay; but this is going to be at a high school with a lot of mortal kids there. Some of them are bond to make fun of us and I don't really want that.

"What is it Nico?" He asks completely curious to what I have to say.

"Um well at my school there is this, um, dance type thing tonight. And well I was kind of wondering... If you like wanted to, you know, go with me?" I keep my eyes trained on the logo oh his shirt, not being bale to keep eye contact. Although, after a few life-long seconds, I ever so slowly lift my eyes to his.

"Formal or non?" He asks with a lopsided smile.

"Formal." I reply beaming for the first time since Will had asked me out the first time a couple weeks ago. "Be at Percy and Annabeth's apartment in a hour. It is in the same building and same level as Percy's old place with his mom so you don't need a different address to go to.

"Okay, I will see you soon then Nico." He says through the now fading rainbow.

"Bye." I call back through just before it is disconnected.

(((((((((((Present Time)))))))))

I keep looking in the mirror to try and find any huge flaws, like the big bags under my eyes I can't seem to get rid of no matter how much sleep I get. And also my hair, it drives me crazy since it never works out for me.

I let out a huge sigh and collapse onto Percy's old bed. He had left the room a little before since he could smell his mother's cooking. I would have gone down there too if my stomach had been feeling better but I was to nervous right now to eat or I might throw it all up.

I close my eyes and take deep breathes, just like Will says to do when I start to feel overwhelmed or anxious. I keep breathing, unaware of the new person inside the room, until she speaks up.

"Nico seriously calm down, I can here you trying to breathe from down stairs." My cousin speaks, amusement lacing the words that flow from her mouth. I open my eyes to meet her amused expression.

"I'm trying but I'm just too nervous."

"How? You two have went an a date or two before. How is this any different?" She asks, confusion taking the place of the amusement.

"This is different Thalia." I say not knowing yet else to tell her that will make her understand.

"How so? Come on tell me. How is this different?" She pushes even more. I sigh and sit up giving her space to sit beside me.

"When we went to the movies, those were just causal dates. This time its a formal one. Meaning we have to dress up. Who knows how many girls or guys will want Will. What if he realizes he doesn't like me anymore or finds someone better. Cause there are a lot of people that are better for Will. Plus its a dance tonight. I don't know how to dance Thalia. I am freaking out here." I keep rambling on, not looking at anything but my lap. I hadn't even realized Thalia had gotten out of the room and left, until I look up to see the bed empty besides myself. "Great even my cousin can't even stand me. How will Will?" I mutter to myself, like the crazy person I am. I sigh heavily, closing my eyes as

"I asked her to leave while you were rambling on and letting your mind create lies about my feelings for you." Says a new voice. I look to meet the eyes of Will. My breath catches in my throat. He looks gorgeous in the tux he has on. Its a grey colour with a black under shirt, with a grey tie and a rose that looks dark blue, the exact opposite of myself. I am wearing a black suit with a grey undershirt and a red rose in the side pocket.

Realizing that I had been checking him out, Will smirks at me. I turn my scarlet checks. Noticing Will's movements out of the corner of my eye, I watch as he sits down beside me.

"Nico I am not going to forget about my feelings for you in just one night. And trust me when I say this: I will not leave you for any female. Plus I don't care if you know how to dance because I can teach you myself, even though I am not that good either." He explains, making me a hell of a lot better. I still have those nervous felling in the bottom of my stomach, but instead of them feeling like the dragons, they are just mere butterflies. "So how about we head down stairs now, huh?" Will says, as he stands and reaches his hand our for mine.

Percy's POV-

I walk down the stairs letting my nose guide me to the kitchen where I see my mom my making some of her famous blue chocolate-chip cookies. While her back is facing me, I sneak over and grab a hand full of them. I check to make sure my mom's back is still towards me, which it is. I turn and quietly walk out. I'm almost out the door when I hear a "Put them back Percy," from my mom.

"Awe, come on. Your back is towards me. How did you even know I was behind you, let alone getting some cookies?" I question.

"I just do." Is her only reply.

"How is it that I can pass giants without being detected but I can't even pass my own mother to get cookies." I mutter to myself.

"Its because she is your mother. She had to carry you around for 9 months before birth and had to deal with you as you grew up. She knows you ways pretty well." Says my girlfriends voice from behind me. I turn around.

Wow. That is all that is need. I couldn't even begin to describe how Annabeth looks right now. She looks so, so beautiful in that dress. She had no make up on and had her hair down natural. She is breath taking.

"Wow." Is all I say as I keep gaping at her. I see a blush rush to her checks as she looks down and starts to play with the dress. I've never seen Annabeth look for... formal before. Most of the time she is wearing jeans, a shirt with her hair up in a pony-tail and has runners of her feet. Now she has flats on her feet, a dress on and her hair down.

"You like it?" She questions weakly, giving me a small smile. I compose myself, finally, and start to give her my oh-so famous lopsided grin.

"Of course I like it Annabeth. You look so stunningly beautiful." I walk over and grasp her hands in my bigger ones and pull her close. I lean my forehead on hers, causing our noses to press into each other.

"No matter what you wear, I will always think you look great Beth" I tell her.

"That's so cliche but thank you." She smiles.

"Always." I say to her.
