Chapter Six

"Thanks" He said.

"Now Hank, what exactly did you mean when you said you want to do some tests? Are you going to be using...needles?" I shuddered slightly at the thought.

"No I don't think I will need them" he replied

I threw my arms in the air "Thank you Jesus!"

He laughed at me and motioned for me to sit down. I hopped up on the chair and sat, my feet not touching the ground "This is quite the lab you've got"

He nodded "Funded by the CIA"

I smiled "So, I don't really know much about you. What can you tell me about yourself?"

He shrugged "My name is Henry McCoy... I'm a scientist, my mutation is I have the feet of an ape. I graduated Harvard at sixteen. And that's pretty much all. What about you?"

I bit my lip "Well there's not much about me to know. My name is Twylen, I am unemployed, I have multiple mutations, and I'm the size if the average ten year old. Except I have boobs. "

He laughed "Thats always nice, as you can see I'm the size of a giant. "

"Yeah your like six foot five hundred" I said, chuckling.

He smiled "I am very tall yes. " He pulled put a strange machine, "These will be placed on your temples and connected to this machine. And when I turn it on I want you to use your mutation to see how the cells in your brain react"

I frowned "So we're doing this to see how my brain reacts when I do it?"

He nodded

I took a deep breath and focused, sending an image to the agent that just passed the room. An image of a thunderstorm. He screamed and I stopped. Hank stared at me "Your brain activity when you do that...is amazing. When you do that your brain activity I can't even describe it. "

I yanked the cords off of me and jumped of the table, "Cool. What did we accomplish?"

His eyebrows knotted together "Well, I know that you could probably enhance your abilities. "

I nodded "Sounds fun, how do I do that?"

He shook his head "I have to speak with Charles about it, but that's all with the tests"

He kept staring at the machine as I walked out.

I found myself getting lost in the building.

I think I was lost for about an hour before the screams started.

I can't lie I am scared.

I heard gun shots, then an explosion. The floor rippled and jumped and sending me to the tile. I groaned and got up. The screams continued, they sounded like Ellison's.

It took me about five minutes to find the court yard.

I stared, dead bodies everywhere.

Three men and Angel stood there, Darwin was there too. He grabbed Angel and turned after shouting something. I couldn't see what was going on all I could see was Alex swiveling his hips and red rings flying from his body. One of the men absorbed them.

Darwin stepped up to punch him but the man blocked it. I couldn't see what was happening but I saw them grab hands.

My hands shot out involuntarily. I focused on the men and Angel, I took away their senses. I have to admit this is hard. One of the hardest things I've ever done.

Someone was fighting against me, and I heard someone shout my name.

I didn't stop, my vision slowly starting to blur, my head pounding, my knees buckling.

Until there was nothing.

My eyes fluttered open. I groaned at the brightness and closed them.

"Twylen you're awake!"

I tried to sit up but I couldn't "What happened?" I asked.

I squinted "Why is it so bright?"
