Hotel (Chapter 7)

When we arrived at home, I was very moody except Jhana and Kristine who doesn't care. About what happened a while a ago.

I sat down in my bed and opened my phone.

"Hey". I texted Mitch, turned off my phone and got outside to eat lunch.

My aunt visited us, she ate lunch and opened a box of chocolates.

I suggested everyone to watch a horror movie when we're done eating lunch. And they agreed.

1 HOUR LATER

I turned on the TV, then opened the DVD player and I selected the movie named 'THE BOY'.

We all watched the movie, and when it gets the scary part, they all walked out and didn't continue to watch it.

They we're scared, maybe?

Later on, I turned off the TV and went into bed. I checked out my messages and received something.

"Hi! I missed you already!" replied Mitch.

"I missed you too, all of you! How are you all?" I replied.

And she hadn't reply in a couple of minutes.

It was 11:35pm, when I heard a creak on the kitchen door and it loudly slammed.

I woke up and peaked outside, there was no one.

When I went back to my bed, I heard another slam on the kitchen door.

I quickly got outside and looked directly at the kitchen door and it was entirely locked.

I turned around and saw a person, standing and staring directly through my eye. It was so familiar.

I run towards my bed and locked the door. I tucked in my blanket. I was shaking when I received some text.

It was from Mitch.

"Couz, I have a bad news" she texted.

"Huh? what is it?" I replied.

"Ate Bea's father is dead."

When I read her reply, I was shaking and took a deep breathe in and out.

"What? Why? What happened" I immediately replied and was sweating.

"Uncle died because he was shot in the head when they were talking and laughing with his friends" she replied.

I searched the Korean name of my mother who was at Dubai, and texted her the news.

She knew a while ago and I went into bed and slept. I kept repeating the words 'this is a dream' and I slept.

When morning came, I woke up and checked out the messages if it was true or not. My heart skip a beat and was shocked.

I told my sister and she didn't believe me when I opened the messenger and saw her the messages.

She was so shocked and her eyes were filled with tears. We we're crying.

2 weeks later, we were packing and getting ready for tonight's vacation to Bohol and Cebu.

I'm soooo excited! I hadn't rode an airplane before!

"When we arrive at the hotel, make sure that it's locked" says my grandmother.

"Ok" I replied.

"Wait, how many packages did Uncle Nep2 deliver to us in Cebu?" I asked my grandmother.

"I don't know, just wait." she replied with a smirk.

We enter the airport and where waiting for our next flight from Dipolog to Cebu.

I took a selfie with my family while waiting.

We stood up when our flight was called.

"I'm so excited!"

We walked to the plane and I was so scared yet excited.

This was my first time riding an airplane. We got in and sat down the seats. I was seated next to the window and my sister beside me.

It was about to take off and I was really really scared yet excited.

I was watching outside and saw beautiful clouds. I was like flying at this moment.

Hahaha beginner be like.

When we arrived, we got in the airport and our aunt met us there and rode a car.

It was a 2 hour ride and I was feeling a bit bored so I plugged an earphones up and sang.

We got in the hotel and I was so amused of how big it was.

"Welcome to Cebu Bayfront hotel ma'am and sir, how may I help you?" a women with a well-dressed uniform greeted us their hotel.

After 10 minutes, we rode an elevator to the 4th floor. That's where our room will be.

"Amma gonna sleep!" I shouted with a smile.

"No! You cant!" My grandmother replied.

"But why?" I pouted.

"We'll still have our dinner" she replied.

"Fineeee"

"Hmm.. can't wait! I'm starving." Nicole pouted.

"There you go ma'am, sir" a waiter said.

"Yehet!" I said with joy.

"Selfie!" our Aunt Nikki said and took a selfie of us.

We got home and I was so tired, so I slept.

"Hey Naomi, wanna come with us to pick up the package at the airport that uncle Nepnep brought to us?" Kristine said.

"Nahh. I'm fine, I'm gonna sleep" I replied.

"Hey! Naomi! Wake up!" a voice tinning through my head and I forced myself to woken up.

"Huh?" but then I saw someone familiar.

"TITO NEPNEP!!" I jumped for joy and hugged my uncle. It was 1 am in the morning and I was super sleepy.

I can heard my sister, father, aunts, grandmother and uncle, laughing.

And I saw Nicole, sleeping.

I woke up and was startled because of last night.

Was that a dream?
