NAOMI's POV
The next morning, on December 24, our grandmother woke us up to set up everything for Christmas. We were asked to buy gifts for everyone. Our grandmother gave us a list for us to buy stuffs.
It was silent the whole ride. When we arrived at the mall, we got in the groceries first. When were done with the groceries, we separated ways.
We got home early and eat lunch. "I'm so excited for tonight!" I said excitingly. "Tonight will be the best Christmas ever!" Kristine responded.
"We'll buy some fire crackers for tonight's midnight, hm?" said Daddy. "Yes! Absolutely!" We jumped and our faces were filled with excitement and joy.
We wrapped some gifts and go shopping for our remaining time till midnight. We made mango float, salad, and so much more.

"Set the timer" Erica said. "I already did." Kristine replied. We were waiting for the countdown, everyone was still asleep and the four of us and my aunt Nikki were waiting for the timer to struck in to midnight. We were eating grapes and strawberries, while Kristine and Erica were setting up the fire crackers.
"1 minute left, guys!" I announced. They quickly collided into a small group and waited.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2..." We watched as the clock strikes into 12.
*Criiiiiiing*
I woke up to a sound of alarm clock. "Oh, it was just a dream." I said. "It's 6th of June. New classmates, new students, new friends, new books. I wish classes were dismissed today." I said with an unhappy look.
(a/n): Hahaha got you!😂😂 sorry, my apologies. That "woke up" thing isn't real. So, let's move on to the REAL chapter.

"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2..." We watched as the clock strikes into 12.
"1!" we screamed and shouted 'Merry Christmas' to each other and hugged. We woke up everyone and we lighted up some firecrackers.
"I wish this will never end." Jhana said while watching the fireworks. I turned on the Karaoke and grandmother was so busy talking and eating with her friends (citizen friends). The loud fireworks were still coming.
"Wow!" we were so amazed of those fireworks until we tried but we failed on doing it, luckily, no one got hurt or injured.
Afterwards, we sang some karaoke songs, we ate some spaghetti and were practicing for our New Year's dance.
And now, it's the opening of the presents. "I wonder what mine will be." Kristine said.
The names were called and gifts were given to them.
After opening presents, the four of us were cleaning the living room and the rest were tiredly sleeping. the fireworks hasn't stopped yet.
"Hey, after cleaning, I challenge you all for the 'Chubby Bunny Challenge'." I sarcastically said. "I'm sleepy, how about we do it tomorrow, ok?" Erica replied. "Tomorrow? You mean, later?" I replied.
"Oh, right"

~5 days later~
"Tomorrow is a new year!" I said happily. "Let's go to the Chapters" Jhana advices.
(A/N): Most of you don't know what 'chapter' is, right? Chapter is a café near the boulevard. Well, we have it here in our country.
"Sure! I'll drive." Kristine gets the key from the room. "Ok." we replied.
It was 7pm and we were enjoying our stay at chapters. They ordered coffee shake and I ordered mint, because I LOVE mint.❤️

We were walking at the side of the sea at the boulevard. We drank our shake and we ate cake.
The beautiful lights of the boulevard was so magnificent. They were colorful and Erica and Jhana can't stop running around to play tag with Kristine, until she gets annoyed with them.
We drove back to the house and were surprised that many people came to have our New Year's celebration.
We greeted the people and all of us were waiting for the time to struck into 12 again for New Year.
"Hey" Charice surprised me behind. I screamed and saw Charice behind me. "You scared me!" I fake cried.
We both laughed and she greeted me a 'Happy New Year'.
Later on, when the clock strikes into 11:59, everyone was silent and were waiting for midnight.
"10...9...8..." Erica shouted and everyone joins her.
"5...4...3...2...1..!!" Everyone were screaming and fireworks were splashing.
Everyone were lining up for the food. We were capturing photos of them, smiling and was so happy. everyone enjoyed the countdown.
Until people got lesser and went home.
We did the Chubby Bunny challenge that Erica suggested. We filmed it and our mouth was so chubby.
And we said 'thanks for watching, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Everyone!'.
Then we fell asleep. "GoodNight."
