Reunion (Chapter 6)

Today was the reunion of my mother's family side, April 28th.

We were getting ready for the reunion. Me, jane, Nicole, Mitch, Kristine and Jhana were taking turns at the shower.

When were done, we changed our clothes and Francis, Margarette, Ralph, Kevin and Ashley were outside, waiting for us. They were running around the house.

"Are you done yet?" Margarette asked.

"Yes! Come in!" I replied. "Want some?" I gave her my perfume and we took off.

"Everyone here?" I Asked.

"Yup!" They replied.

"Ok, let's go"

We went at the other side of the house and we greeted everyone 'happy reunion!'.

We were waiting for the mass to start.

•••AFTERWARDS•••

It was lunch time. We got our food and ate. After out lunch, the program started. We waited for us to be called for our presentation, we practice when we got here, we practiced the song 'Flashlight' by Jessie. We waited and waited.

While we were waiting, we got out and bought foods at the gas station. There was a store there and we bought anything.

When we arrived at the house, we heard someone singing our song that was meant to be us to sing. I was so furious and we didn't perform our song because someone has already done it.

Bummer.

Instead of singing, we ate marshmallows that we bought earlier. We even challenge ourselves called 'The Chubby Bunny Challenge'. Margarette won tho. she ate the whole thing after we lose.

It was fun being around with cousins.

I was so happy. I'm glad I met them.

After the reunion, me and Francis were asked to come to Margarette Roa's school so Margarette could perform her solo song, 'Hello' by Adele. I recorded her, singing. "Wow Margarette! Great performance! Nice Voice" I said with a smile.

After her solo performance, we got home. When we got home, we ate 'Lechon' and drank soft drinks.

We went to the other house and played the karaoke and sang.

Margarette and Mitch fought. Kristine on Mitch's side, me on Margarette's side. We defended our opponent and we were shouting. Francis and Kevin didn't understand a thing.

(A/N): Our fight was such a long story.

Our grandmother (our mother's mother) and our aunt came and she protected us from harm.

Every year when we come to Labason, we always fought each other, well, between me and my sister, Kristine. Nicole and Jane were so chill. They have their own world.

Either way, we got out and we were crying. Jhana, Kristine and Mitch got away and stayed at our room, crying.

Today was our last day, staying here in Labason. We walked to the 'pikas balay' and were greeted by Bea, the eldest of us all cousins. "What's wrong?" she questioned. It was dark out and we got inside and talked about what happened. "Tell me what happened." she said.

Blah blah blah~.

"And that's why it happened." Margarette said.

"Well, you have to say sorry to them. It's best that you both apologies." She replied and calmed us down.

We got out the room and walked towards to Mitch and Kristine.

When we were still outside, I was so angry at Kristine because she started first. I yanked the banana tree and was throwing it. I really wanted to pull every leaf of the banana tree but didn't because someone stopped me from doing it.

When we were about to go to Mitch, we heard a glass broke. We faced where it's coming from.

"Who did that?" Bea said.

Our faces looked so suspicious, until someone admitted.

"Shh." Margarette shushed us. "Don't tell anyone." Xander whispered and our uncle walked towards us.

"Who did that?" he pointed at the broken glass and faced us.

We shrugged until he walked away.

"Oooh! Xander, it was you?" I whispered. He nodded.

"At least you're not hurt." Bea said.

Mitch came out and we run towards her.

"Hey Mitch, were so sorry of what happened between us. I don't want to break our friendship as a cousin." Margarette said while crying.

"We're sorry too." we hugged her and everything went well.

"Thank you Bea" we thanked her and she smiled.

Everyone went home and we were at the porch, talking. It was only Me, Francis, Margarette, and Ralph.

We were talking about that i'll miss them when were leaving Labason tomorrow. We cried and hugged each other. Then we sang Flashlight and went to sleep.

We were woken up by our aunt. I didn't want to get up so we'll be delayed from the bus but I was forced to.

It didn't last forever.

Before we left, I snapped some pictures of my mither's family.

When we arrived at the bus station, I hopped on and I was listening to the recordings that I recorded 2 days ago.

I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to Margarette, Ralph, Ashley, Kevin and Francis.

I missed them already. I want to start the day all over again and again.

But....

YESTERDAYS ARE GONE.

My life stinks😭 I really missed them. Francis and Kevin went back to America.
