Chapter 4: The Date part 1

Later when I got home I quickly realized I had absolutely NO nice clothes, so I put on my makeup straightened my hair and texted Kim.

Me: Can you come over for a sec and bring some nice clothes for a first date.

Kim: ok be there I'm a jiffy!

When Kim said a jiffy I thought she meant like 5 minutes but in reality she was there in like .5 seconds.

*knock knock*

"Hey how did you get in the house?Did my mom let you in?"

"Nope, she was passed out on the porch, so I just let my self in." Normal people would be worried if there mom was passed out on the porch but this is kinda normal for me.

"Well did you bring some clothes?"

"Yup they're in my bag."

She reached in her bag and pulled out some cute white skinny jeans that complemented my figure.Then she handed me a aqua colored tube top. A TUBE TOP!?

"I'm going to the movies not a strip club!"

"It's honestly not that sluty." I rolled my eyes.

"Fine ill put it on." after I put it on, I actually looked rather nice for a change.

"See you look great!" she said with an ear to ear smile.

"Yeah I guess I do."

"Told you, now put this on." she handed me a gold neckless with a heart on it.

"You look fantastic! Kevin will be DROOL-ING! oh and I got to go home but text me after ok?"

"Ok"

Almost immediately after she left Kevin texted me.

Kevin: hey Im outside your house.

Me: Well that's not creepy at all. I'll be out in a sec.

Kevin: Great cant wait to see you babe.

Ok, we haven't even been on a date and he's calling me babe? If he wasn't as cute as he is I might be mad that he said that but Im actually kinda flattered.

When I went outside I stepped over my mom and saw Kevin out side of ugly Hugo.

"Woah babe you look... you look great."

Kimmy was right he was drooling.

"Thanks... babe." I have never really been on a date so I wasn't sure what I should call him.

"Woah you all ready have a nick name for me?"

"No.. I mean yes... I mean YOU SAID IT FIRST!" I shouted not wanting to say the wrong thing.

"Woah it's ok Alice, you can call me babe I think it's sweet."

"so... are we going to eat first."

"Yup, get in."

I looked at his car. it was ugly as hell and it didn't even look like it ran, and for peat sakes is that DUCT TAPE!

"I am NOT getting in that thing."

"Come on, it's perfectly safe."

"I highly doubt that."

"Just get in."

"Fine."

He quickly ran around to my side of the car and opened my door.

What a gentlemen, no one has EVER opened the door for me.

"Thank you." I said blushing

"Your so awkward." he said closing the door, but I stopped him.

"Awkward!?" I asked kinda pissed.

"Calm down, its a cute awkward."

"Oh, well thanks I guess."

"Can I shut the door now." I had forgotten my arm was in his way.

"Oh... yeah sorry" I said moving my arm.

When he shut the door he had the cutest smile on his face and I probably looked like a geeky, blushing idiot.

When he got in the car he put in the key and twisted it, and let's just say I don't think anyone has ever herd any noise like this one, or ever should!

" listen to her purr."

"THAT is not purring, THAT sounds like a dying cat getting sacrificed into a bit of evil babies!"

"How do you know what a pit of evil babies sounds like?"

"I guess I don't but, I can imagine it sound something like what your car engine sounds like."

" You're funny Kit."

"Kit? Did you forget my name in the past 5 seconds or something!?"

" Well, Alice... Allie.... ally cat... Kitty cat.. Kit...cats are cute.... your cute... so I shall call you Kit."

"Why can't you just call me Alice?"

"Because everybody calls you Alice and I don't want to be just anyone to you."

I didn't even know what to say. No one has ever said any thing so nice to me so I just kinda stared at him. Then I finally said.

" I don't think anyone has ever been this nice to me ever...so why are you?"

"Because as soon as I passed that note to you and you reacted the way that you did, I knew that you were special."

I couldn't help but blush and look out the window, I wish I could pause the world in this moment forever with him. As I was blushing I noticed in the corner of my eye that he was staring at me. So I looked up and stared back.

He had the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen but suddenly they closed. And he was leaning in, he was going to kiss me. HE WAS GOING TO KISS ME! I have never kissed anyone before. But soon I had my eyes closed and I was leaning in too.

When his lips connected mine it felt like how they described it in the movies... magical. It only lasted like 5 seconds but they were the best 5 seconds of my life.

"Woah." I said when he pulled away.

He smiled. "You're a good kisser."

"Please, that was all you I hadn't even kissed anyone before that one."

"Really? I was your first kiss. That so sweet."

"Just like the kiss."

"Huh?"

"The kiss, it was sweet."

He smiled.

"Can we do it again?"I asked shyly.

"No, I want that kiss to linger on my lips forever."

"But we have to kiss again eventually... Right?"

"And we will but I want to remember this one for awhile, so we won't kiss again till I have it memorized."

"As much as I love this moment right here right now, don't we have to go somewhere?"

"Oh yeah let's go."then we pulled out and off we went, to continue the best day of my life.
