Chapter 6: His house

We were in the car for about 30 minutes before we arrived at Kevin's house. It was HUGE! When I walked through the door my jaw dropped and I'm pretty sure I saw Kevin watching my reaction. Then a tall women with dirty blonde hair, maybe in her mid 30's walked in, I'm guessing it's his mom.

"Kevin honey, who do you have here?" she asked a bit too cheerfully.

"I told you I was bringing a friend over."

"Yeah but I thought you meant-" Kevin cut her off.

"We'll be upstairs." he said leading me up the stair case.

"Be safe." she said as we walked up the stairs

"What did she mean by that?" I whispered to Kevin as we walked up stairs.

"Oh, nothing just ignore her." he replied.

Soon we were met by a hallway and he led me into a huge bedroom.

"So this is your room?" I said sorta amazed.

"Yeah what did you expect?" Kevin said.

"I don't know? A normal sized bedroom, that doesn't- woah you have a couch! in your room?!"

"Yeah, I'll be sleeping on it tonight." he said laughing at my awkwardness.

"No, this is your room you can sleep on your own bed." I insisted.

"No, your the guest and you get the bed."

"Stop being a gentleman and just let me sleep on the couch."

"Huh, fine I'll let my beautiful guest sleep on the uncomfortable couch."

I looked at him funny.

"What?" he asked

"Nothing it's just that no one has ever called me beautiful before." I said.

"Well, you are and don't let anyone tell you different." he said.

I just blushed and then asked yet another stupid question,

" umm, Kevin are you like, my boyfriend?" I asked biting my lip.

"I don't know, I hope so. Are you my girlfriend?"

"If that's ok with you."

"It's defiantly ok with me"

"So does that mean you my boyfriend?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes."

I couldn't help by smile the hugest smile ever.

"Can we kiss?" he asked.

"Hey, I'm supposed to be the awkward one." I teased.

"You didn't answer my question." he said.

"Let's just say if I don't have to ask permission, neither do you."

We leaned in for a kiss when his mom walked in!

"Oh! sorry,i just was going to ask if you guys wanted some snacks." she said backing out of the room.

"Mom, why don't you knock next time!?"

"Uh well I just-" I cut her off.

"No, it's fine I'm Alice."

"Oh" she said walking back into the room.

"I'm mrs.Walker but you can call me Cherry." she smiled.

"Well Cherry, we would love some snacks."

She smiled and then exited the room.

"Why are you so nice to her?"

"Why aren't you!? She's your mother for peat sakes!"

"I guess your right."

"By the way she has your smile."

That made him smile and, I love his smile.

"I love your smile."

"I would kiss you, but sadly you invited my mom back in to give us snacks."

"Hey, I'm hungry." I said playfully hitting his chest.

Then his mom came back in with some crackers and peanut butter.

"Hope you guys like em."

"Thanks." I said, then she smiled and walked out.

"She likes you."

I smiled and then kissed his cheek.

"So do you have any pajamas I can where?"

"Umm, sure. one sec."

When he went searching for something to where I sat on the couch, and he was wrong... THE COUCH FEELS LIKE A CLOUD!!

Kevin came back in with some sweat pants and a baggy tee shirt.

"They may be a bit big but they should do for pajamas."

"Thanks, and you lied... this couch is amazing!"

"Yeah ok it is pretty comfy." he said handing me the clothes.

"Hey, can you leave so I can get dressed?"

"Oh yeah sure."

Ok so I'm going to change things up this is now going to be a pov book and if you don't already know pov stands for point of view so, that means some chapters could be from Kevin's point of view some can be from alice's etc.

Alice's pov

As I was getting dressed I looked down at my phone and saw that Kim had texted me 67 times! But, I decided not to text her back because, what could she have texted me that was all that important.

Then I changed into the clothes... they weren't just big, THEY WERE HUGE! But, it's not like I had anything better to where. I kept Kim's necklace on so I wouldn't loose it and then laid on the couch and started to drift off to sleep then Kevin came back in and laid a blanket on me and then he laid on his bed. As I lay on the couch looking at him sleep, I started to long for his touch, so I got up and curled next to him he was so warm and when I crawled in next to him I didn't realize that he slept shirtless, but i didn't really mind.

Kevin's pov

As I laid in bed I stared at Kit and longed for her touch, but I didn't want to disturb her then, suddenly she got up and crawled in next to me. I don't think she knew I was awake. She was so warm and soft as she laid close to my back. I was so thankful for her. so with out even thinking I whispered

"Kit I'm in love with you." I didn't really expect her to answer but then she said

"I think I love you too." Then I kissed her fore head and we both dosed off in to sleep and I was glad it was Friday because I didn't want to go to school tomorrow, I wanted to stay here with her, against me, in love.
