Chapter 4: Train ride

"LILY PASS THE SYRUP!!!!!" Squealed James tauntingly

It was September 1st, Lily, Albus and James where all sitting around the table, eating breakfast, Ginny was in the kitchen, making pancakes. While Harry ,had been called to work earlier, to investigate a muggle attack.

"Fine" said lily smirked, with a flick of her hand the syrup bottle, slid across the table and squirted itself all over James' face.

"Lily, your not suppose to use, wand less magic outside of school!" Albus said worriedly

"He was asking for it Al, don't worry"

"Well I'm gonna go get changed, again!" James said stomping out of the room. Just as James' feet had disappeared up the stairs, Ginny walked in, her red hair flecked with grey and an apron over her clothes. "Are you both packed for Hogwarts?" She asked. They both nodded "Good because we are leaving in..." she checked her watch "half an hour."

After their mother left the room, Albus said seriously "Lily you can't use wandless magic, just because you're, in a bad mood" Lily glared, but Albus continued "I know you're upset because you have to move up a year, and leave Bella behind, but on the bright side at least you have Scorpius, Rose and I to keep you company."

Lily scoffed "bright side? Rose and Scorpius, are idiots! why would I want to hang out with them?"

"Rose is your cousin, why don't you get along?"

"Oh please, she has hated me ever since I was born!"

"That's not true!" Albus argued

"Last week, she called me a bitch, because I was in her way on the stairs!" Lily said angrily.

"She had just broken up with scorpius! Albus shouted, his voice rising,"besides, you didn't make it anybetter, when you bat boggy hexed her." Lily smirked

"And as for scorpius." Lily said ignoring, what Albus had just said. "He has been, a grade A pain in my ass, for the last 4 years! Why would I want to hang out with that!?" And with that, Lily stormed from the kitchen, probably to go plan a prank, on Albus.

MALFOY MANOR

It is also breakfast time at Malfoy manor, scorpius and Bellatrix were the last ones at the table as Draco had gone to work while Astoria was telling the house elfs how to pack their trunks. There was a long silence, until Bella spoke, "So, any plans on how your going to win lily over?" She asked smirking.

Scorpius went pink "what are you talking about, Bella"

Well it's obvious isn't it, you like her don't you." This was not a question.

"No, I don't!"scorpius said angrily.

"My advice," Bella continued, as though scorpius hadn't spoke, "Is that you convince Albus and James to let her into the marauders.

"How do you know about that?"

"Albus told me about it." she said simply, "but you should let her join, she has the invisibility cloak and she is an animagus!" She taunted, knowing full well he would be surprised.

"What form does she take." he asked at once, pushing away his cereal.

"You'll see," she smirked. "The point is be nice to her, and stop getting jealous of all her boyfriends." Before Scorpius could argue his case, she left him to ponder on what she had said.

KINGS CROSS

"Lily promise me you will try your hardest to stay out of trouble." Ginny whisper. The family had finally arrived at Kings Cross and were saying there goodbyes.

"Don't worry mum." Lily said, gently pulling away from the hug, "I'll be fine."

After everyone had boarded the train and the platform was out of sight, Albus and Lily had gone to Scorpius, roses and bellatrixs compartment. After walking past 15 carriages whose occupants unashamedly started at them, they finally reached the compartment Rose, Scorpius and bellatrix were in. Albus ran over to greet scorpius and rose while lily hugged Bella and asked about her summer.

After they had all greeted each other they sat down Bella and lily on one side, Scorpius Al and rose on the other. it was extremely awkward, everyone except Lily new, Scorpius likes her. Even Rose was aware of it, which didn't extinguish the rage that was inside of her(Rose and scorpius broke up a month ago, but agreed to stay friends) if anything it just made Rose hate Lily more.

After half and hour of silence Bella spoke up, "soooooo..... We should probably go put our robes on." she said winking at Scorpius.

"you're right." Albus agreed, wanting to put a stop to the awkward silence.

"Come on Lily, Rose we'll get changed in the bathrooms.

After the girls had left and Scorpius and Al had changed.Albus spoke first, "Hey mate, I know lily hates you and everything.... but James and I were thinking, we should let her into the marauders."Albus said tentatively. "I mean.." Albus continued, at Scorpius's look of shock, "She plays really good pranks and she has the invisibility cloak."

"That's fine with me."scorpius replied, trying not to look to happy. Then his conversation with Bella, popped into his head. "Do you know if Lily is an animagus?"

"No" Albus said shocked "Is she? I thought you were the only one at Hogwarts."

"I dunno, we'll ask her at the next marauders meeting."

"Oh no the meeting." Albus face palmed.

"I thought the next one was tonight."

"Nope, James organised one for the train. I was suppose to tell you." Albus explained. "You go to James compartment and warn him, while l get Lily."

JAMES COMPARTMENT

Scorpius had just told told James and Fred about how they had invited lily and suspect she is an animagus, when Lily walked in, her dark red hair falling down he back. "What do you guys want?" She asked, while glaring at Scorpius, who smirked.

"Well little sis," James began, "We are offering you a place, in the next generation marauders."

"You guys have made a next generation marauders?" She scoffed

"Yeah well each of us can do something special"

Lily eyed him "special? Like what?....."
