James' Pokédex: Pikachu
After catching a Dugtrio, the duo decided they had had enough catching for the day, and started to set up camp with some tents they had seen in a shop in Hau'oli City. James felt a slight bump underneath his tent when he went to lie down in it. Upon investigating further, he found 3 stones and a note. The 3 stones were a Thunderstone, a Key Stone, and a Lucarionite. There was also a Poké Ball there. The note read,
"James,
Here are a few gifts from me to you.
I hope you use them wisely.
Enjoy them.
Anonymous"
"Well that was weird. I wonder who is inside the Poké Ball?" James said.
He was about to check it out when the Poké Ball disappeared.
"Oh yeah, I have more than 6 Pokémon," James remembered. He opened his Pokédex and pressed the white button, transferring his Growlithe for the unknown Pokémon. He opened the Poké Ball and a Riolu jumped out of it.
"Rio, Riolu!" Riolu chanted happily.
"A riolu, huh?" he said, taking out his Pokédex.
"Riolu. The Emanation Pokémon. It uses the shapes of auras, which change according to emotion, to communicate with others." The Pokédex stated.
"Wow, that's great. I wonder who sent me it?"
Now he turned his attention to the final item – the Thunderstone.
"Wow – must be for Pikachu. I wonder who sent it? Only Jessie knew I got it, unles somebody was spying on us..." James said.
