Jessie wanted to do something for James. Recently, she had been experiencing strange feelings for him. Having never had anything like it before, she had no idea what they were, apart from a small voice in the back of her head, telling her it was love. Don't be silly, Jessie, she told herself. I'm not in love... am I?
Regardless of what they were, she still wanted to do something. So she put James to sleep, then while he was sleeping, she secretly went over to Sinnoh on a plane. She quickly found what she wanted, a Riolu. She wanted something that would be able to Mega Evolve in future. Then, flying back to Kalos, she went searching for Mega Stones and Evolution Stones. After about 3 hours of searching, she came up with a Thunderstone, a Lucarionite and a Charizardite X. Having no use for Charizardite, she sold it down at the village and bought a notepad and some pens. She wrote James a quick note explaining the gift, then she hid them inside his tent.
He would be so happy tomorrow, she thought, lying down for some sleep.
