  Chapter 1 :Ek

        After a not so good start to the Monday morning(well,duh its Monday), I dragged my feet towards the classroom & ignoring all the people who greeted me . I was definitely cranky this morning. Perks of spending the Sunday night or rather early Monday morning completing your pending  homework.

   The festive season had come to an end and it was   time to return to my daily, not so interesting life .Finally I reached my class & gave an annoyed look to  the girl who was trying to talk to me, more like shouting in my ear.

I heard the bell ringing ,well here goes another shitty day at school. I missed Maya and Sabrina for sure . Damn them for ditching me alone in school today.

    6 hours later

The day at school went as I expected, boring . I zoned out in half of the periods & doddled in the other  half . School day came to an end and somehow I survived through the day alone.

The worst part was having lunch with some of my classmates & listening to  their discussion about politics. Not only did I have to endure their conversations, but also I had no one to share my jokes with. The self control of not saying stupid things in front of others was waning out .

The song Hotline bling (by Drake) started playing indicating that my phone was ringing.

"Heya pooh bear, did you miss us ?" I heard Sabby's shrill voice screeching in my ears .

"Yeah how was school, pooh bear" said Maya . I hate their stupid nickname for me .

I replied "You wish . I did miss you guys & school is like a holy temple without you bitches. So pure & so  monotonous. "

"Come on , gives us all the update & gossips "

"Dhruv broke up with Mira , Grumpy Pants(our physics teacher) gave us a group project and I got stuck with you guys again . Nicki was asking about you ,I think she has  some Intel about your good for nothing boyfriend Maya. "

"He's not good for nothing , in fact he is best ... " Sabby interrupted before Maya could complete her sentence.

"Eww , Maya TMI about your sex life."

"Oh please girls your just jealous." Maya replied sassily and all of us started giggling .

But that sentence kept on echoing in my mind . Where we really jealous of Maya's perfect relationship & that she had found her special one and we  hadn't? Agreed Roy wasn't a prince charming, but he was definitely Maya's prince charming.

She had found hers and all I did was fangirl over the guy who was supposedly my prince charming for over 2 years now. I still had not gathered the courage to even talk to him,whereas Yama, Maya's pet name.

Weird,right? Well we were popularly called the 'Weirdo trio' in school.
Okay now back to the topic .

Yama had it all easy in life. She had an eye for Dhruv since they first met & he proposed to her 2 months later. I had literally never seen her study & yet somehow she managed to get the best grades in our class.

Sabby,however, is very discrete about her love life and somehow manages to change the topic when we talk about it .

I heard another shriek in my ear. I must have zoned out on their conversation again. I'm weird like that.

"Okay Natasha, we will meet you next week and keep us updated on all that is happening in school. Ciao"So typical Maya

"Bye bye doll" Sabby said.

They knew how hated those cheesy, extra sweet names .

"Bye guys,don't miss me much". Finally I ended the call.

I wish I could have gone to spend 15 days in a resort with them,but I couldn't because of my allergies .
I hate my melodramatic immune system .

So guys that was the first chapter of my book. I hope you liked it. I gave you a quick insight of what goes inside Natasha's mind & a hint of her 'envious' thoughts .
