Dark Alpha Mate

Chapter 3

Sapphire's POV:

"Hey baby, i think Clem and I should go back home already." I told Jasper as i stop his kisses on my neck, clearly he didn't like what i just said as he started to grunt and mutter how he disapproves of my idea, but i know that the both of us won't be able to hold back anymore if i don't stop him.

"But we're just starting to have fun here baby, i'm sure Clementine's having a great time as well." Before i could reply to him he grabbed the back of my neck and kissed my lips passionately. He started licking my lower lip asking for entrance but i decided to tease him some more and not give in.

He moved an inch away from me and started growling a bit "baby, don't be such a tease." He says as he grabbed my waist and pulls me closer to him, i can feel almost every part of him with how close we both are.

Our eyes started to get darker and our breaths getting harder and we both return to kissing deeply. This time he started to nibble on my lower lip and sucking hard like his whole life depended on it.

"Baby" i moaned out as i grabbed a fistful of his hair, and he started to grab my bum and lift me up. I wrapped my legs around him as we both made out.

He started growling even more when i kissed, licked, and sucked on his neck to his shoulder. It was there and then that i really felt like marking him as mine but i know that the both of us should control ourselves and wait for the right time.

I gave him a peck on the lips. "Baby, we really have to go. Once i live in your house we'll be close to each other all the time, we don't need to rush things. I'm yours forever and you're all mine."

He looked a bit sad but i was able to convince him to look forward to the days that we'll both be living together, fully mated. He kissed my forehead and it gave me electrifying shots through out my body, having a mate who loves you back is just the most amazing thing there is.

"I love you Jasper." I was staring at his mesmerizing eyes as i said those words, and i truly mean them.
"I love you too Sapphire." Each word felt like they were promises from him to me. We were both smiling idiotically at each other and i just know at that time that nothing could ever keep us apart anymore.

"Help me go and find Clementine, for sure she's already bored out of her mind" i laughed as i remember the first and last party Clem willingly went to back in high school.

The both of us have already graduated just a few months ago and now we're working at our pack house. Clementine still wanted to go for further studies and become an Accountant but her parents didn't leave her enough money for college and the fees for high school was the only thing she could afford.

Jasper and I went out of a random room at the pack house since we started making out after a couple of dances. I kept looking around for Clem but she was nowhere to be found. Jasper and I even started asking the pack members of Midnight Moon if they ever saw her going anywhere and all their answers were just "we haven't noticed since we were too busy doing bla bla bla."

I sighed, already thinking that Clem have escaped and probably went somewhere where she could be alone. I know that she's a strong girl who can be independent, but that just gave me more reasons to worry about her.

Even if she tried to hide it, i know that she's still depressed with her parent's death. She didn't have anymore relatives because most of them have died from old age and diseases or have died because of wars. Most of Clem's family are warriors of the pack so it's not much of a surprise that she's good at fighting as well, we can just say that it runs in her family.

"Clem, where are you? We can go home now." I tried mind-linking her since she was nowhere to be found. It took her a couple of minutes before she replied with an "i'll be there in a bit."
I started to drink some iced tea with Jasper while waiting for her to return.

Clementine's POV:

I was about to tell my mate about my thoughts of his name when suddenly Sapphire mind-linked me asking where i was and how we're allowed to go home already.

"Ahmm... i have to go." I pointed at the direction of the party.

Thunder sighed, as if he was troubled with something.

"Is there anything wrong?" I laid a hand on his left shoulder, clearly concerned of him.

"It's nothing love, tell me. What's your pack name?"

"It's the Black Raven pack." I told him with a smile, i'm proud of my pack since my whole family has been full of warriors willingly fighting and risking their lives for the sake of our pack.

His face started to look a bit darker at the mention of my pack, and his jaw started clenching and his hands turning into fists. If i wasn't wrong, then i was sure i can clearly saw his claws coming out of his fingers.

"T-thunder? What's happening?" I was panicking already since i didn't have any clue as to why he's trying to hold back shifting. Is his wolf in pain? I just don't know.

"Leave. Now!" He shouted at my face, his voice was dripping with venom and i was hurt that those kinds of words and attitude was directed at me.

"W-what? B-b-but why? What did i do? Tell me Thunder, what's wrong?" I'm a very sensitive person and i get easily moved about simple little things like seeing animals starved and homeless on streets, so seeing as how my mate is talking so harshly at me was ten times more hurtful and shocking to me.

His eyes were already black and his canines and claws were already out. "Get the hell away from me! I never want to see you again!" I was so adamant to let him talk to me properly and calm him down that's why i started walking closer to him, trying to reach and touch his cheeks.

Most mates calm each other by holding them and whispering in their ears and that's what i was trying to do.

Instead of it working, what he did to me next left me so hurt. Not only emotionally but as well as physically.

He slashed his claws at my stomach, leaving a big and deep gash on it. I cried out from the pain and i clutched my stomach and curled into a ball on the floor filled with grass. I can already see a lot of blood coming out from my wounds and it was pooling not only my hands but the surroundings around me as well.

"Aahhhhh!!!!" I screamed in pain as i tried to stand up, i was already panting so hard.

"I told you to stay away from me! What have i done?" Thunder was already shouting angrily and i can clearly feel he was panicking at the sight of me and my wounds. He was hesitant to pick me up and rush me to a pack doctor and it was even more hurtful than the gashes that he did on my stomach.

All along I thought that my mate was grateful that I was his, but I guess i was wrong. I was stupid to assume that anyone would want someone like me. I started crying not because of the wounds in my stomach but because of the wounds deep inside of me.

Even though i was already panting and losing so much blood, i still tried my best to stand up. I failed twice and fell to the floor but i never gave up. I can see Thunder shaking and hesitating if he should give me a hand or not, i looked up at him and i saw pain and anger evident in his face.
I tried to muster the best straight face that I could.

"I know it was just a mistake, i don't blame you. It's going to be okay Thunder. I'll be fine."
I know that what I said was probably just a lie but I never really like it when people are too hard on themselves because of something bad happening, i know how it feels because i have experienced it first hand.

I smiled at him. I can already see black spots in my vision and i know that i won't stay conscious very long.

Thunder shaking and clutching his hair really tight was the last thing i ever saw before i passed out.
