Bubblegum.. Popped

Meh

I looked at Amanda with a curious look. I looked through a few more rooms with the help of Jacob. No one was to be found. 

"Amanda.. no one else is here. I've checked everywhere." I whined. 

"Have you checked behind you?" Amanda grinned while Jacob was trying to hold in his obnoxious laughter. I slowly turned around and came face to face with a grinning Alex. I screamed in response jumping backwards and falling on my butt. 

Everyone doubled over in laughter as I sat there red as a tomato. Amanda helped me up to my feet despite her erupting giggles that almost made her fall over as well. It took a while for all of them to calm down. I shortly got a call from my mom after. 

"Hello?" I answered. 

"Hey hunny, how is everything?" She asked. 

"Great. How is the movie going?" I asked shushing everyone around me. 

"Good! I left an envelope in the kitchen drawer for you. I think you should go grocery shopping." Mom chuckled. 

"Uhm thats actually a pretty good idea.." I laughed. 

"Okay hun call me later tonight. Love you." 

"Love you too Mom." We then hung up. 

I walked to the kitchen drawer and pulled out a pink envelope. Inside were two lists and some money. 

"Anyone up for grocery shopping?" I questioned putting it in my pocket. 

Everyone was fine with it so we got into my car. Once at the store, Jacob begged Alex to take him to look around. Alex agreed and left with him. Amanda and I shopped and talked away. Suddenly we came across a girl around our age. She polietly came up to us and asked me an odd question. 

"Uhm i know this might be weird but uh could I see your birth mark?" She asked. 

Wait what? "Uhm okay.." I briefly showed her the birth mark placed on my shoulder. 

She nodded and smiled saying thank you then left. 

"What was that?" Amanda inquired after the girl was out of hearing distance. 

"I have no idea.." I replied quite perplexed. Its not like everyday someone comes up to you asking to see your birth mark. 

We brushed it off and continued shopping. About 20 minutes later a guy came up to us, fairly cute must I add. He studied me for a second before asking me for my number. I looked at Amanda and she gave me a big grin. I gave it to him quite confused because I didnt even know his name... 

I decided that we should leave so we headed down to the registers, calling Alex and Jacob with us. After paying for everything we went back to the house and unloaded the bags. My phone buzzed in my pocket indicating I had a message. I pulled it out noticing it was from an unknown number. 

Unknown Number: Hey Im Jerry. We met at the grocery store. 

Me: Well if you call that meeting.. then I suppose. Im Bella. 

Unknown Number: I know your name is Bella. I have something to tell you. Are you alone at the moment? 

Me: Uhm no. 

Unknown Number: Text me when you are. 

I didnt reply to that. I quickly saved his contact, labeling him as Jerry. How did he already know my name? I decided to forget about it and spend some time with the others. Hours passed by when I finally decided to take Jacob home. Amanda and Alex decided to leave as well. After I had taken Jacob home and said hello to Kat and her husband, I got into my car and texted Jerry that I was alone. He told me to meet him at the park. Why was I talking to strangers and going to meet up with him?! Well theres just something about Jerry that makes me feel like I've seen him before. I pulled up to the park and looked for the familiar guy. Once I spotted him I quickly walked up to him clearly impatient. 

"What would you like to tell me?" I quickly got to the point. I didnt want to be kidnapped. 

"Well hello to you too." Jerry smirked. 

Rolling my eyes I responded, "Im not here for that, I want to get to the point. I dont even know you!" 

"Oh but my dear you've seen me around.. your family is in danger.. you are in danger. See Im not even supposed to be talking with you but Im looking out for you.  Trust me. Im not a stranger, Im a protecter. The rest I must not tell you." He said quietly looking around as if someone was watching us. He started to back away mouthing 'I have said too much'. He then turned to run to his car.
