Bubblegum.. Popped

My whole life

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. Suddenly I locked eyes with my dad. I screamed again and jumped into the arms of Alex hugging his neck tightly. Alex didn't mind though, he was such an understanding person.

"H-how... What how are you alive?" I stuttered as tears fell down my face.

"Well hello to you too." He chuckled.

"No this is no time for laughing, how are you alive?" I snapped. I was not I the mood for games and if this was a big joke then I was going to rip this persons head up.

"Well you see Bella, when I got shot, I died.. But somehow the nurses resuscitated me and never got a hold of you or your mother due to stress and depression. So the nurses let me into the care of your real mom..much to my objection." He said frowning. "I wanted to go back with Alice and you but after being released into Renee's care, she kept me here, preventing me from ever getting contact of you guys." He continued. 

I got off of Alex's lap and went to my dad giving him a huge hug. Oh how much I missed him. 

"ISABELLA!!" The shrieky high pitched voice made my dad and I both sigh. 

"Renee.." My dad started to say. 

"Oh what a joy.. we have the whole family together." She squealed. 

"Actually no we dont... my mom isnt here.." I said smiling at my dad. 

He smiled back almost crying at the thought of my mom. They loved eachother so much. 

"Shes an actress now dad." I said proud of my mother. My dad didnt say anything, he just smiled. 

I finally realized Alex was just standing there watching the whole scene probably quite confused on everything. I stepped away from my dad and walked to Alex. 

"We should go now.." I said taking his hand in my own. 

"Ill be back dad." I said smiling and walking to the exit of the building hand in hand with Alex. 

"Today has been.." Alex started but I finished, 

"Eventful." 

"Ill drive you home." Alex said walking towards his car. I didnt object because I was way too tired to drive myself home. 

Before he could open the any doors to the car I stopped him. 

"Thanks.. for everything Alex." I said slowly.

 He didnt respond but he didnt have to because suddenly he kissed me. I didnt refuse either. I kissed him back hoping this would tell him how much I loved him. I found my way to his hair and tangled my fingers in it as his hands wrapped around my waist. 

"I love you." Alex said finally pulling away. 

"Good, because I love you too."
