Alpha Dominance

Chapter one

"That will be all for this meeting, and don't forget about the party tonight" I said with a big smile, sitting back down in my seat, soon hearing everyone shuffle out of the room.
"Good job Skye," I heard Bella laugh.
"I am so tired of this Bells," I said losing the smile and looking up at her.
I seen the pain on her face mirroring mine.
"It's going to be ok. We can do this. Your Mom and dad would've wanted you to stay strong," she said reaching across the big oak desk and laying her hand on top of mine. Even if she was trying to reassure me I could still see the sadness in her eyes, holding back an ocean of tears. Even thought she wasn't related to them by blood she was related to them by heart and since they were the alpha and Luna it took a huge toll on the entire pack.
I'm Skylynn Taylor and one of my bestest friends ever is Bella Wilson and we act more like one person.
She has short blonde hair and brown eyes whilst I have light brown hair and blue eyes.
I am the alpha of the Shadow Pack but the only reason of that is because my parents died three months ago in battle.
My father was Alpha Emit Taylor. He had light brown hair and big brown eyes.
My mother was Katherine Taylor and she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She was a well respected Luna and the entire pack loved her.
The Black Night Pack is the Pack of lost rouges that attacked different packs throughout the world.
Our pack as well as the Crescent Moon Pack went into battle.
The Crescent Moon Pack is the Pack that we share a land with.
They are more powerful than us but if we got into a battle we would be able to hold up.
Tonight is my sixteenth birthday. The day I will be able to find my mate. I might not even find him tonight but I would love to have someone that cares and respects me, not like the respect an alpha gets but the kind only your soulmate can provide.
"We better get ready. The parties in three hours," Bella said standing up.
I nodded and tapped the stack of papers on the desk and put them neatly in the drawer.
My family was special though.
And I mean like really special. We had a couple powers no other wolves have like the ability to hear and smell further distances than most wolves. We can also hide our scent from any other wolf and I always use this in school. My parents weren't very much stronger than most alphas or Luna's but I've had to get Richard-our pack trainer- to train me since I was two years old for my extra power. I am stronger than most alphas and no one knows why but my parents ordered Richard to keep it a secret so I wouldn't become a target. Not that it'd be easy to kill me considering I would be ten times stronger than them
My father taught me to use it every day in school because if rouges come they always go for the alphas to take over their pack and if they think I'm human they won't go after me first.
I normally use it at Pack parties and joined dinners when other packs join us.
Like tonight. The party was open and the Crescent Moon Pack was attending.
We went upstairs and down the long hallway aligned with pictures of past alphas and to my room at the end of the hall.
My room was the biggest room in the house and since Bella was my Beta she was moved to the room across from mine in the second biggest room.
I grabbed my dress wrapped in a clear dress bag and laid it gently on my bed.
I pulled off my shirt and my jeans before taking the dress out of the bag.
I felt the silky black material in between my fingers.
I pulled it on and felt the dress mold onto my body and did a little spin.
The top part of the dress was strapless and a dark black but it gets lighter as it moves down to the bottom of the dress that reached to my mid-thigh.
It's a little shorter than I'd liked it to be but Bella picked it out so I couldn't say anything about it. She is crazy about shopping and accessories while I'm over here always wearing hoodies and leggings.
I put two diamond studded earrings in each ear and heard a whistle.
"Damn girl. If you don't find your mate tonight I might just have to mate with you myself!" Bella laughed looking me up and down.
I laughed and rolled my eyes at her, sticking my tongue out.
She had on her skin tight navy blue dress that reached just above her knees and a thick bevy blue bracelet.
I walked over to my nightstand and grabbed my phone, checking the time.
I threw my phone back on the bed and went to my bathroom to finish getting ready.
