Skylynn's P.O.V

I awoke suddenly to a loud alarm and I bolted out of bed.
After a couple seconds the alarm stopped and I heard a knock.
I opened the door and seen Dylan.
I walked back into my room and heard him shut the door behind him.
"What's going on?" I asked facing him and yawning.
"Thirty minutes till training," he laughed.
I groaned. I remember him telling me this last night but I forgot all about it.
"Hey I'll meet you here in about twenty minutes ok?" He said and I nodded.
After seeing him leave I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower knowing I would still take one later so get rid of the sweat that I'll develop.
I got dressed in a lose black and pink tank top that I had to search deep just to find and some black leggings.
Normal wolves train without shoes to be able to feel the vibrations and movement so I just went bare foot. I blew dried my hair and threw it up in a high pony tail and brushed my teeth.
I felt Easton pushing to opened the mind block all night and now when he tried it again I just opened it.
What is the address? He asked immediately.
I can't tell you that Camp. I was still mad at him for doing the frick frack with another girl but I got over it because I knew I'm not allowed to be mad if he rejected means I accepted the rejection.
Tell me now Skye. I'm coming to get you. My heart fluttered at his protectiveness but I refuse to give in.
No Easton. I'm staying here. I told him and I heard his growl.
Skye please. We can just fight the rogues. I don't care what happens but your coming home. My wolf hummed in the back of my mind and listened to our conversation. Probably expecting me to give in but I'm not.
Easton. I'm not changing my mind. I'm staying here. I said firmly.
Skye. Your so fucking stubborn and I don't want to fight you on this. Just give me the damn address. He bit out and I had to stop myself from smiling.
Gotta go babe. Training today. Later mutt. I told him and heard his growl of pleasure at the pet name and growl of annoyance at the mutt part. I closed the bond as fast as I could and jumped up when I heard the knock on the door.
Dylan and I walked side by side all the way to the training fields and I seen a huge open field covered half with grass, half with just normal dirt and there was a fenced in area full of animals like deer and pigs and even a couple bulls.
"What are the animals for?" I whispered to Dylan.
"Those are the hunting animals. They release them and we have to kill them," I suddenly felt very sick.
"Do we have to?" I asked holding my stomach.
I saw his nod from the corner of my eye and I felt my stomach drop.
"Everyone. Can I have your attention please?" I heard Michael yell and the whole court yard was thrown into silence. "If you could please welcome our newest member of the pack, Skylynn Taylor," he pointed to me and motioned me to come stand by him.
There were some whistles and some growls as I approached their Alpha.
"She will be treated like me because she can beat any and all your asses if I allow her," he said and there was a chorus of laughs and grunts as he smiled at me.
"And since she's new. We need to see what you've got," he said looking back at me again.
"Our training is separated into five parts. First part is the warm up. We run. Second is the grass. There is so many different things that can happen in grass and dirt so we fight in the grass, third, we fight in dirt. Fourth is the hunt, we hide a special item of clothing in the forest and you have to trace the scent. Fifth is the kill. We release one of those animals from that pin into the forest and you must kill it and bring it back," he explained everything. "Lets see what you got little wolf," he stepped back and got ready. "Ten laps around the whole forest!" He shouted to everyone and everyone took off running.
I was in the middle of the crowd and getting really frustrated because I wanted to be first. It was the alpha in me to be dominant and I can't get past anyone.
Rogues are so slow.
I looked up at the branches and thought of a plan. If I jumped up in about twenty yards I can grab the low branch, swing onto the lower one and swing on the next to, drop down and be in front.
When I got there I jumped as high as I could and felt my hands wrap around the rough branch and swung my foot up to jump on the next one.
I flew forward and grabbed the next three branches, keeping my feet up so I didn't kick anyone's head.
I could feel them watching me in awe and I dropped to the ground, right beside Michael.
He looked at me weirdly and I gave him an innocent smile before picking up my pace and running as fast as I could.
I was done before everyone and I just kinda sat there while everyone finished their last two laps. I'm surprised even Michael, their alpha, couldn't keep up with me.
Then again, rogues weren't known for their speed, they were known for their fighting skills and to say I wasn't excited about learning some new fighting techniques was a complete lie.
Sure our trainers were good at training to stand a fight but the rogues didn't worry about their form or footing, they worried more about kill or be killed and I want to be the best fighter, especially if I'm a rogue now.
Soon everyone finished their laps, panting and sweating.
"Now it's time for the grass fighting," Michael shouted and everyone gathered around us. "Everyone find a partner and I'll work with Skye," he turned to me and motioned for me to follow.
"Remember everyone. We don't kill Pack members," Michael said even though he sounded more like he didn't care.
He turned to me and I seen the evil glint in his eye. He thinks he's going to beat me. Ha. As if.
He started circling me and I watched his every move.
I soon got into stance when I seen his muscles tighten and I was prepared for his lunge.
I smashed him into the ground and he pushed me off him.
He grabbed hold of my shirt and swung me in a circle. Throwing me to the ground.
You see. This is why I want to learn like them, even if I'm ten times stronger than him he can still get me on the ground.
"Focus Skye. Focus on me," Michael told me. "Every move I make."
I nodded and stood up.
I grabbed the back of his neck and swung him towards a tree.
He fell to the floor and I seen everyone stop what they were doing and watch.
He growled and stood up.
He transformed into his wolf and ran at me.
I jumped into the air, over him and spun, shifting into my own wolf.
I ran at him and nipped his paw. He went for my paw and I pulled it back.
I swung my heavy wolf body into his side and he fell to the ground.
He stood up and tackled me.
He snapped at my tail and I winced.
I flipped us over and got him on his back. I swung my head down and felt my teeth enclose around his neck.
I stopped there and held it there for a minute before pulling back and standing up.
Michael stood up soon after and barked. A woman came soon and gave Michael some clothes. He didn't have the decency to go behind a tree and he just shifted right there. I snapped my eyes to the ground and looked at it like it was the most interesting thing in the world until he told me to look up.
"That was very good little wolf but your still thinking about your form. You could've beaten me sooner than that if you were only focused on the kill," I thought about what he said and nodded. "We're going to skip the dirt fighting today and go straight to the hunt," he said and pushed me lightly to the end of the field and just outside the tree line.
He handed me a small piece of fabric and I sniffed it.
The scent was fresh pine and cider wood.
I sniffed the air and found the trail of the scent and took off after it.
It was a total of seven minutes before I found it hidden under a rock.
I grabbed it in my mouth and ran as fast as I could to the field where everyone was waiting.
"Your focusing too hard Skye. Let your wolf do everything. It's in her nature. Let her take full control and do this for you," he said and handed me another piece of fabric.
Fresh dew and daisies.
I sniffed the air and took off towards the scent.
I checked to see if I was going to run into anything before closing my eyes and sinking to the back of my mind, pushing my wolf forwards.
I felt myself being separated from my wolf and it was like I was floating above her but still in me. It didn't even feel like me anymore. I opened my eyes and felt my heartbeat quicken to my wolves heart beat.
I also felt my self running faster than I had ever felt possible and I smiled, feeling the wind through my fur.
I couldn't do anything but watch through her eyes and saw her find the shirt hidden under the dirt in two minutes flat.
Why didn't you ever tell me you could do that? I asked her in awe as she ran back to the fields.
She gave me the control back and I collapsed onto the ground suddenly feeling very tired. I had a smile on my face the entire time.
You never asked. She said and I heard her laugh. The first time in a while.
That laugh gave me the power to stand up and I felt my legs start shaking and Dylan came over and held me up.
"I forgot how tired you would be after your first separation so that will be all for today. Dylan can you take her up to her room?" Michael said directing the last part at Dylan.
I felt Dylan lift me into his arms where my paws were in the air and I was looking up at his face.
How can he lift me?
It was kinda awkward being in his arms but I reluctantly let him carry me being as I can barely stand. My wolf didn't care about it as much as I did and wished it was Easton.
Once he brought me to my room I shifted and laid down for a couple hours till training was done and it was lunch time.
Skye. What's happening now? I suddenly feel really tense and tired. I heard Easton's voice filter into my mind.
Easton, I just had the most amazing time at training. I- he cut me off.
Wait. You liked the training they had there? His voice sounded clipped and less calm.
Well yeah. I learned how to do this really cool separation trick and tomorrow we're going to fight in the dirt and I found the shirt! I said all in one breath probably not making any sense but who cares.
When are you coming back? His tone shocked me. He was quiet and I could even feel the sadness.
You know I can't come back Easton... I told him mirroring his sadness.
Skye. Everyone's wondering when your coming back. He said and my stomach dropped and my heart was crushed. Why do you feel like that?
I don't know. I just thought... never mind. I gotta go East. I said and then I got up and walked to the door.
I had thought that my mate. My soul mate. The one person that was made to love me unconditionally would want me back from the rogues. Apparently not. Just everyone else.
I was gonna go find the dinning room myself if it's the last thing I do in this cursed place. If Delilah was going to get this treatment if she came here I don't know why she wouldn't.
I sniffed out the scent of Dylan because he was the only rogues here that didn't have the same smell. And that was because he told me the story of how his pack abandoned him after his parents had died not even eight months ago and they told him he didn't have to change his scent either.
I found Dylan a couple minutes later talking to another guy about our age by the staircase.
"Skye, I was just about to come get you," Dylan smiled looking at me.
I smiled back at him and looked at the other guy, who continued to stare at me.
"Skye this is Jax, Jax, Skye," he motioned to each of us and Jax smiled at me. "He is crazy, look out," Dylan whispered loud enough for Ajax to hear and we all laughed.
Who did he remind me of? Someone so familiar but I just can't place my finger on it.
I gave up trying to figure out who it was when Dylan grabbed my wrist and pulled me out to the back yard.
The training field was further off but you could still see it and some wolves were still fighting.
I was led to a snack table where you could make your own sandwich and I was handed a plate.
I grabbed the bread, cheese, turkey, mustard, and jalapeños and put everything together.
I followed Dylan to the back of the house where a small table sat and sat down with him.
"How did you guys get out of training so easily?" I asked.
"We both already beat our opponents," Jax said high fiving Dylan.
"Wow. You guys must be really good," I said nodding, taking a big bite out of my sandwich. I didn't feel any threat from either of these two so I was comfortable around them. "So, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get into this pack?" I asked Jax.
"My parents were always abusive and my whole pack hates me because I didn't shift into my wolf so I ran and Michael found me," Jax shrugged and I felt so nosey.
"You never shifted into your wolf?" I asked and he shook his head.
"But then Michael helped me figure out why," he took a bite out of his sandwich before continues. "My mom cheated on my dad with a human and after she had me my dad was the first to abuse me, saying I was a reminder of my moms mistake, yada yada yada," he waved his hand in the air and laughed. I felt bad for him but I didn't want to say anything else to ruin his good mood.
"Is this how it is all the time?" I asked looking at all the wolves laughing and cheering with each other.
"No. it's just because your here," Jax blurted and Dylan hit him on the arm.
"What do you mean?" I set my sandwich down.
"Listen, just enjoy this while you can because it will change in about a week or so," Dylan said with a little sadness before everyone fell silent and I looked down at my food.
Skye. Bella wants to know everything that's going on. Easton said and I could practically see him rolling his eyes.
I can't talk to her. If I talk to her then I open the bond to everyone before I focus it on her. I told him and plus the fact that I would break out crying if I talked to her.
Ok well I can translate. Easton said and I smiled and shook my head knowing Bella was going to make him say the most grossest, most longest, things ever.
Ok. I said and I could tell he felt the smile I had because he chuckled wait!
"Dylan do you have a phone with you by any chance?" I asked and he reached into his pocket and handed me his phone. "Thank you," I said with a smile and he nodded.
I dialed Easton's number and he answered in four rings.
"Hello?" His voice wasn't as clear as through the bond but oh well.
"Easton, it's me," I told him and he laughed. "Is Bella there?" I asked and I could hear shuffling.
"Skye?!" I heard her voice and I exhaled a breath before smiling.
"Bells," I said and heard her laugh.
"You haven't been gone that long and I already miss you, why the hell did you go with the rogues?!" She asked the last part more quietly.
"I had to Bella. Don't ask anymore about it," I could tell I was on speaker by the way my voice echoedz
"Ok ok. Is there any hot guys there?" I could tell she was smirking.
"Yeah. And I'm sitting with two of them," I laughed and looked at the guys who were giving me confused looks and I heard a loud growl from he receiving end of the phone.
"You need to come back, he's scaring me!" I laughed at her and so did Easton.
"I can't babe. You know that," I said feeling all the sadness grow inside me.
"I know but... but I miss you..." I heard she was on the verge of tears and then I heard a voice cutting out a little bit and she huffed before continuing "and so does Easton. Even though he won't admit it." My heart skipped a beat and then I felt the one thing I hoped I wouldn't. The fire started surging through my body and settling in my core and my eyes slowly trailed up to meet Jax's. I heard a growl and he sniffed the air.
"For fucks sake Skye," I heard Dylan mumble and he jumped up right when Jax did and he pushed him onto the table.
All I heard was growl after growl and I stood up immediately and backed away.
Jax was shaking and his eyes turned black. Why wasn't Dylan effected by it as well though? I tried pushing away the heat but the more I tried the stronger it got.
"Skye, what the hell is happening?" I heard Easton's voice and I remembered I still had the phone against my ear.
"Uh- I- I-" I couldn't find the right words and I just blurted it out "My wolf went crazy and the fire started again and now Jax is trying to get me," I said frantically and started running towards the forest when Jax pushed Dylan to the ground.
"What?!" Easton yelled into the phone.
"I- uh- gotta go," I said and I was too focused on the phone and Easton that I didn't see the giant root sticking out of the ground.
I screamed when I started falling and landed with and 'oomf'.
"Skye, no what's happening?" I heard Easton say from the phone beside me and I didn't have time to grab it when a brown and red wolf jumped at me.
I held my arms out and turned my head to the side, shielding my face from Jax's claws and snaps.
I let out a small yelp and heard a growl through the phone before hearing a louder growl from the wolf on top of me.
"Jax.  You don't want to do this," I said and kicked him off me.
By this point I felt the heat slowly subside and all I did was push him to the ground and hold him there when Dylan came running up with clothes.
He kneeled down to Jax and when he stopped shaking under me I stood up and Dylan handed him some clothes.
"Why didn't the smell effect you?" I asked when Jax walked away.
"I'm only half wolf remember? I don't have a wolf or a mate so there's no need for me to attack you when I'm unmated and even though it smells good as hell it doesn't bother me as much," he laughed and I heard Jax come back.
"Skye. I am sooo sorry. I did not mean for that to happen, my wolf just kinda took over and-" I cut him off with a smile.
"It's find Jax. Really," he gave me an apologetic smile but didn't say anything else.
I grabbed Dylan's phone and put it up to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked hoping no one would answer.
"Where are you?" I heard a low growl.
"Easton. Calm down... I felt the heat start to tingle throughout me again. "Why did you reject me?" I said a little too fast.
"What?" He asked.
"Just tell me why," I told him trying to push away the heat from hearing his voice.
"I said because you weren't strong enough but-" I cut him off feeling the squeezing feeling and the heat disappear instantly.
"No. don't say anything else. I gotta go. Tell Bella I said bye and that I love her. Tell it to Dayne too," I said and heard his growl before I hung up on him.
"Come on. Let's go inside," Dylan said as I handed him his phone back.
As we walked into the house I heard a bunch of yelling and I saw Michael on the phone.
His eyes shot to mine and he narrowed his eyes.
"You will learn your manners boy. Especially since I have your mate now," and Immediately knew he was talking to Easton but how did he get Easton's number?
"Dylan, Jax, Skye, come with me. Now," Michael said and walked away.
As we followed the boys kept their heads down like they knew what was coming.
Michael started heading down to what looked like the basement and it was getting darker and darker.
I was ready to turn around and high tail it back outside but I'm not leaving the boys.
As soon as we entered a lighted room a tall, muscular rogue that looked as though he was on steroids slammed the door behind him.
As I turned back around I came face to face with Michael and before I knew it my hands were being tied behind my back.
"What the hell is happening?" I said turning back to Michael and shaking my hands, trying to break free.
His hand came in contact with my face and my head whipped to the side.
I growled and was slapped again.
I felt a prick in my neck as he shoved a syringe into me, injecting a liquid into my vein.
Wolfsbane. My wolf said and I felt her go silent and blocked away from me.
I felt trapped just like I had before and I felt myself being pushed against the cold wall.
"This is actually what we do to new comers and since those two are the youngest in the Pack the endure this every day. Along with you now," Michael now had this certain shimmer in his eye and I didn't like it at all. It sent me cowering in fear and he pulled my hands up above my head and tied them to something.
A rogue came with a cart full of knives, lighters, syringes filled with various liquids, you name it.
I turned to Dylan and seen his face emotionless and I knew Michael wasn't kidding when he said they go through this everyday.
So I felt a slice in the side of my cheek and felt the warm liquid start streaming down my face as Michael watched, holding the blade in his hand.
I didn't have my wolf to burst through to beat the shit out of this guy and without my wolf I couldn't transform.
He set the blade down after wiping it off carefully with a black cloth.
He picked up a lighter and a thin metal pole about the length of a forearm.
He lit the tip of the metal rod with the lighter until it turned a bright orange color.
He lifted my shirt up and drug it along my stomach.
My eyes snapped shut and I clenched my teeth together, holding in the scream.
He then moved to Dylan and tore his shirt completely off.
This is how he managed to stay calm all the time? He took his anger out on the youngest wolves? The nerve of this bastard and when I got my wolf back I swear to god I'm going to beat his ass.
I kept my eyes shut, not wanting to see anything he did to my newest friends. I heard some yelps of pain and a few whimpers and screams and I felt a tear slide down my face.

🌚⭐️🌝

After a whole two hours I was exhausted and covered in blood and burns.
This would all heal over night and my head hung in defeat.
Michael left around twenty minutes ago and we're forced to stay in here all night.
Another tall rogue came in as well as two more. One of them was more heavily built than the others and while the other two stayed with the boys the more muscular stayed with me.
I had no shirt on considering Michael had shredded it to pieces and the guy did the unbelievable.
He ripped my shorts off and soon ripped off my underwear.
I knew what was coming next and the tears streamed from my eyes, knowing I couldn't do anything about it.
All that night the guy raped me, over, and over again. I couldn't believe I wouldn't get to have the moment with my mate or at least someone who loved me considering my mate wouldn't.
After he had finished I felt the darkness take over me.
