Chapter four-Easton's P.O.V

Easton's P.O.V

After the girl I think named Brittany left I felt as empty as I did before.
Why the hell did I do that?
The more important question was why did I let her go?
Answer to the first question was that I kept picturing Brittany was Skye. I couldn't help it but it just felt disgusting if I didn't. She came over after the meeting and it just kinda happened.
The meeting went surprisingly well and I told them that Skye went to a different state to find out more about the rogues and the only people that knew the truth was Bella, Dayne, Jason, Harmony, and my parents. They've all vowed to keep it a secret and I felt the wolfsbane start running through her system.
Then I felt the bond close all together. And after about an hour of waiting for the bond to open Brittany walked in.
She left a little bit ago and I flopped onto my bed.
Easton? I heard the angelic voice filter into my head. It sent shivers down my spine and her face flashed into my mind.
Skye. I said and I mentally slapped myself for sounding so relieved.
The wolfsbane just wore off sorry. She said in a clipped tone and it made my wolf whimper.
What's the matter? I asked a little forcefully.
Oh nothing Camp. She said sarcastically. Everything's all fine and dandy here.
It's not my fault you left with the rogues. I growled but soon regretted it.
I did it to protect you and your mom and your there with my pack fucking some other Slut. She growled back and my eyes widened. Then I remembered that she could feel it. I was at a loss for words and I felt like a total dick.
I gotta go. I went to tell her to stay. To let me talk to her but she closed the bond to fast.
I ran my hand across my face and sat up when I heard a knock.
I sniffed it and was going to whig out if it was a girl. It was but I relaxed knowing who it was.
"Come in Cass," I yelled.
Cassidy walked in with a big smile and jumped on my bed.
Cassidy was in my grade and one of my best friends. I used to have a huge crush on her but I got over it and we became good friends.
"What's up Cassidy?" I asked with a smile.
"Where Skye.....?" She asked with a devious smirk on her face.
"Who wants to know?" I asked nervously.
"Me. I want to know," she stated matter of factly.
"And why do you want to know?" I asked in a fake British accent.
"It's my job to know everything about my best friends and if one of them find their mate I make it my duty to know everything about them," she nodded and my eyes widened.
"How did you know she was my mate?!" I whisper yelled before I could stop and deny it.
Another evil smirk formed on her face "I didn't till now," I face palmed and she laughed.
"When did you meet her? Why isn't she here? Why haven't you had a ceremony? And why haven't I met her East!?" She asked all these questions and I covered her mouth with my hand from her loudness.
"Ok I met her about a week ago, she is somewhere else that I can't tell you, I rejected her, and I have no idea the last one," I said and she immediately stood up.
"You fucking rejected her?!" She whisper/ yelled.
"Yeah, so?" I asked even though I felt the stabbing of knives in my chest when I thought of the rejection.
"So?! Your an idiot! Why did you reject your mate?" She asked sitting as far away from me on the bed as she could.
"I-I... I don't know anymore..." I said honestly, letting my head fall.
"Ok why did you reject her?" She asked softer this time.
"Because I didn't want a mate and I thought that she wasn't strong enough but I don't even know now," I told her. It was true. I thought she was weak because of her scent but she was just hiding it from someone and when I get her back I will find out how she does it.
When we get her back. I heard my wolf start purring inside of me. I smiled knowing he was actually alive.
She nodded and left it at that "where is she now?" She asked and I looked up at her.
"I'm only going to tell you this because I trust you ok? Don't tell anyone," I told her and she made a motion where she was zipping her lips and I took a deep breath.
"So the Black Night Pack only want to fight us because they killed my moms whole pack and now they're after her," I stopped and let that sink in. "Anyway. Skye and I skipped training and let our wolves be with each other for awhile and we ran into the alpha of the Black Night's. Needless to say I was knocked out and when I woke up Skye and Michael- the alpha- told me she was leaving with him," I told her and she nodded, urging me to continue. "I became furious and asked why she was going with him and she told me that she was only going with him to protect me, her Pack, and my pack," I finished.
"Ok before you continue, why did you guys need to let your wolves be together if you rejected her?" She asked quirking her eyebrow.
"She's in heat Cass," I said and her eyes widened.
"And she's in heat with probably a bunch of unmated rogues?!" She said and I sighed and nodded. "Continue now."
"Anyway. She was there for awhile and then I felt the tingling sensation but the pain kind of tingling and I told her not to drink the wolfsbane and that's when our bond closed. Then I, uh..." I trailed off awkwardly, not knowing how to tell her i fucked another girl while my mate that was in heat was surrounded by unmated, vicious rogues.
"You what?" She asked firmly.
"I had sex with Brittany," I finished quietly, hoping she couldn't hear but the odds weren't on my side now.
She nodded once and sat there just looking at me before she stood up and started walking to the door.
"Where are you going?" I asked standing up and pulling on her arm. I was kinda wishing it was Skye and the tingles would shoot up my arm and the warmth will cover my body but I knew it wouldn't.
"Your joking right?" She asked.
"What?" I had no idea what she was talking about.
"You mean to tell me you had sex with another girl, knowing your in heat mate could feel it, while she's off protecting everyone she's ever known including people she's never met from your pack?" She asked and I shrugged even though my wolf was snapping at me and also I could tell he was trying not to whimper. "Wow. Your a fucking prize aren't ya Alpha," she said disappointed before walking out and leaving me standing there knowing she was right.
I went and I flopped onto my bed letting out a long dramatic sigh.
What. Have. I. Done?

Hey guys! Sorry for the really short chapter but the next one is going to be a longer one and after a few more it's gonna get down to the good stuff.
A lot of things will be happening in chapters seven and eight. ;)
