*Beth's POV*
"Let's just say we've all had...expierences with them, except me, luckily." Niall says, pursing his lips together.
"Liam and I dated Faith while Zayn and Harry dated Landry. We dated them at the same time. Landry and Faith told us to never tell who, so we didn't. They set it up to where Liam never saw me and vice versa. They are the fucking players, not us." Louis commented harshly.
"When was this?" I asked, shifting my fork around.
"Let's see. I think it was back around Christmas." Zayn sighed, running his hand over his face.
"Right before Holiday Break." Harry joined with Zayn.
All of a sudden, something clicked. They appeared different. You could see a hint of gloss cover their eyes. Depression, despair, loneliness, pain seemed to swallow them whole.
"Well, you guys seem alot more fun than them." I smiled, watching each boy's face light up, attempting to lighten the mood that had settled over us like a haze.
"You're not too bad yourself." Louis said, getting up to throw away his lunch.
*Louis' POV*
I threw away my lunch, somewhat angered. I took this whole ordeal the worst. I had liked Faith for years, giving my all to be with her. She fucking threw it away. I spoiled her whenever I could. Her face lit up when I brought her that bouquet of flowers on our 3rd date. She was so beautiful that night.
But those were distant memories that felt like being stabbed. Liam took it better than I did. He destroyed his room and every picture he had of her.
Harry and Zayn nearly fought each other. Little did they know, it was all a fucking plan. Faith and Landry wanted to ruin us, as friends and as a team. Everyone recovered, except me.
I made my way into the bathroom, splashing water onto my face. I shifted my sweater around, nervously. How can you hate someone but love them all at once? I shook my head, heading to my next class.
*Niall's POV*
"Thank you." I said to the remaining three lads. I knew Louis was gone, trying to piece himself back together in the hallway.
"For what?" Liam raised an eyebrow.
"Being nice to Beth...and telling the truth." I fiddled with my fingers, drawing patterns on the table.
"She's a nice girl, mate. I overheard Mason, Landry, and Faith the other day..." Zayn trailed off.
"What'd they say?" Harry spoke before I could.
"They were making another plan. Not for us, though. Something about Beth. I hadn't recognized the name until now. She's in one of my classes I...I can't go into detail. You know what we need to do, right?"
"Friday. The party. His arse is getting kicked. I'll find two girls to handle Faith and Landry." I spoke, rather calmly. My fists folded in, knuckles turning white.
"Niall, what's going on?" Beth's voice appeared behind me.
"Nothing, love. Let's get to class, yeah?" I stood up, placing my hand on the small of her back. Turning my head, nodding to the boys.
*Beth's POV*
"Promise everything is okay?"
"Just trust me, please." Niall pleaded, fixing his backpack strap. He grabbed my arm, slipping me into a seperate hallway, pushing me against a cool locker.
