*Niall's POV*

My hands rested on each cheek before pulling away. Her eyelashes fluttered open, her chest rising up and down rapidly.

"I...uh, sorry." I spoke, rubbing the back of my neck.

A giggle escaped her lips, shaking her head. Her lips met mine again, hands tugging on the hem of my button-up. My fingers began to lace through her hair, fingertips trailing down her neck. Goosebumps raised on her arms and I smiled into the kiss.

"I like that I can do that." I mumbled.

"What?" She smiled, still breathless.

"This." My hands trailed up her arms and neck, creating more goosebumps.

*Louis' POV*

"Faith?" I yelled out around the backyard.

"She's in the bathroom, bro." Some intoxicated slob slurred.

With that, I rushed inside, looking for her. I don't know what drove me to want to see her or why. She wanted to ruin me, well, she did. But she also wanted to ruin Beth. I knew it was the boys and I's job to protect her, ecspecially now that she was in Niall's sight. He was always one to protect who he cared for. I really admired that trait in him.

"Faith?" I knocked on a closed door.

"Who the fuck is it?" She sniffled. A sad smile formed on my face, partly for her sniffles, partly for her stupid language that I adored. I always liked when a girl had a mouth on her, sassy just like me.

"Louis..." I trailed off, beginning to twist the brass metal.

"Why the fuck would you do that?" I saw her positioned in front of a vanity, wiping away makeup.

"I heard your plan about Beth."

She sighed, turning to face me. Her face was slightly puffed and red, the sight breaking my heart a little more.

"We thought it'd be fun." She rubbed up and down her arms.

"You do realize how bloody evil that is? Enough with your damn games. What the hell makes you want to ruin everyone's lives? First, us boys, now her? What the fucking hell is wrong with you and your friends? You fucking ruined me." That's when I covered my mouth with my palm, refusing to continue.

"I had alot of shit go on as a kid, Louis."

"That doesn't give you a right to do this, Faith. There are much better ways to handle that. You don't know what you've done to some people." I shook my head, running my hands through my hair.

"Like you..." She took a step forward. If it wasn't for my back already against a wall, I would've moved away.

"Like me. I really did like you, Faith, for fucking years. I would've done anything and everything for you. I thought you felt the same. Do you not know how it feels for that to just be ripped out from underneath you? Liam's fine, now. He's usually highly emotionally invested but he's much better with with Danielle. Zayn and Harry almost fought in the middle of  a game. That's what you wanted, though. Zayn's with Perrie, very good couple. I don't know how Harry is. He kind of just stays to himself."

"But, me. I had it worse. All of my feelings had developed over all those days and weeks. Remember your face when I brought you that huge ass bouquet? God, you were fucking beautiful that night. That was our last date, at least fancy one. Remember those movie nights at my house? I loved hearing your laugh, that little spark in your eye. I noticed your little habits more and more. You'd tug on a strand of hair when you were nervous. So damn cute. But you just...you fucking did this to me." My voice cracked at the end, and I hated it. That's when I looked up. In front of me, this strikingly beautiful monster stood there, breaking down.
