Resetting | Seven [COMPLETED]

Chapter Seven

I promised Sonia I would stay with her to make sure she was okay and to keep her safe. A guy came and fixed anything that got broken and I fixed the security system. I usually stayed in my own corner and left Sonia alone. I don't want to fuck anything up. I can't afford to. I need to fix all these problems and stop the reseting from happening.

Sonia was in the kitchen making dinner. It smelt like grilled cheese and it smelt amazing. My stomach growled, I stretched my arm across my stomach. I guess Sonia heard it because she spoke to me.

"It'll be ready soon Seven." I looked over at her and she smiled at me. I gave her a half smile. I love her to death.

I went back at working on fixing the system when Sonia called my name that dinner was ready. She placed the grilled cheeses in the middle of the table and set a coupe cans of Dr.Pepper beside the grilled cheeses. I got up and walked to the table and sat down. Sonia also brought over two bags of Honey Butter Chips and laid a bag in front of me and one where she will be sitting at. She then brought over two more plates and eventually sat down across from me.

"Thanks for the meal, Sonia. It looks great" I said smiling at her.
"It was nothing. I'd do anything for you. Mostly since you're willing to stay here with me with all this chaos going on." She winked at me and began eating.

I don't deserve her.

After dinner was over Sonia started to pick up the plates. No I can't let her wash the dishes too, she made dinner it's only fair that I wash. I stood up and followed her to the sink.

"I'll wash the dishes Sonia."
"No seven, it's okay I can do it." She gave me a smile.
"Sonia, you made the dinner, the least I can do is wash the dishes for you."
She stared into my eyes. She was reading me like a book. "Sev, you're hurt, you need to rest and take things easy."
"I'm fine Sonia, I can do this to help pay you back." It's true that I am hurt and my shoulder is still in a lot of pain, but I need to do this. For her.
"Seven.." Sonia looking at the sink.

She reached over to start the water, I grabbed her arm, to originally pull it away from turning the water on, but instead pulled her to me. Right when I felt her body touch mine I locked my lips onto hers. I wrapped my good arm around her waist and pulled her even closer to me. I didn't want anything to be between us. With my very hurt side of my body I lift up my arm and placed my hand on the back of her head.

My eyes might have been closed and all that I saw was darkness, but I felt the light that she brought into my life. No matter how dark everything may be, no matter how black and white my world is, Sonia will always be the color and light in my life.

Sonia wrapped both of her arms around my neck and pulled herself even closer to me. Feeling her body placed against mine was bringing many other thoughts into my head, and I knew I had to control myself, I can't be selfish right now. At least, not at this moment. This moment is too perfect, the dirty things can come later if anything ever got to that point. Right now all that matters is her and I, standing in this kitchen, sharing this kiss while we argued over who was going to wash the dishes.
