Chapter Twenty One

Once I was finally discharged from the hospital, I did what I could to help Sonia finish moving into my apartment with the help of Yoosung and Zen. Today was a really big day. Sonia got a call from Jumin half way through the day and said V finally woke up and that he's doing well. Everyone rushed over to the hospital to see him. V seemed happy to see everyone.

V also announced that he'll leave RFA and make Jumin and I as the leaders. Jumin wasn't okay with V leaving. But V said he needed to no longer be apart of something he destroyed secretly.

I was finally able to see my brother and hug him for the first time in years. He kept telling me how sorry he was, how he wants to kill himself for all the pain he put everyone through. I started crying and told him I need him in my life and that he can't die. After we both cried for awhile, Sonia came in, and we all had a group hug, and talked about what will happen next. Sonia mentioned about adding Saeran into the RFA, which is a perfect idea to me. Saeran agreed to become a member. After we all talked for a few more hours, Sonia and I finally left to go have dinner with her parents.

"Are you nervous?" Sonia asked me, her not taking her eyes off the road. We were driving one of my babies. I love my baby.
"I'm kinda nervous." I mentioned. "But I think things will go good." I said smiling at her.

We pulled up into her parents drive way, Sonia helped me get out of the car and her parents met us outside.
"Oh! It is so nice to finally meet you Mr. Choi." Sonia's father said.
"Nice to finally meet you too Sir." I reached over and shook his hand.
"Still on the crutches huh son?" He laughed.
"Yes sir, I'll be on these until nurse Sonia here says I'm good without them."
"Good boy, listen to my daughter now, she's a great nurse."
"Of course sir. She's an amazing woman all together."
"I'm glad you think that way." He smiled at Sonia.
Sonia hugged her mother and then walked over to her father. "I'm still so happy my baby girl is finally back home." Her father said.
"I'm glad to be back dad."
"Why don't we all go inside? Dinner should be finished quickly!" Sonia's mother said.
"Of course ma'am." I said giving her a smile.

Sonia's father walked beside me as we walked inside the house, he started telling me how much Sonia talked about me. He also talked about Sonia's older brother that should also be joining us soon. I knew she had a brother, but she never mentioned if he was older or younger.

Sonia helped finish up dinner with her mother, while the father gave me a tour of the house and showed me pictures of Sonia and her brother when they were younger. She was just as beautiful then as she is now.

Sonia's brother finally showed up, and the first thing he did was hug Sonia.
"I headed her as quickly as I could after mom and dad called me saying you're finally back home!" Her brother said.
From what I've been told, her brother worked for a big company kinda like Jumin's expect his is in the United States. His name is Yuu, and two years older than Sonia.

After they had their reunion, Yuu went and hugged his parents and finally came to meet me.
"You're Saeyoung Choi right? Nice to meet you."
I shook his hand and he told me to sit down on their couch. I sat down and he sat across from me.
"It's your fault why she went missing isn't it?" He whispered.
He's playing the blame game.
"And why are we just now meeting you when you have been together for a long time now?"
"Okay you obviously don't know the full story. I'm sure you know how I met your sister."
"Yes. Of course I do. She came home everyday and told everyone about how perfect you were."
My face grew hot. Did she really? "My brother is unstable right now, and it's the fault of people who acted like parents to us, they brainwashed my brother and made him believe I was a horrible person, he was taught to hate me and hate everyone around me, I don't know when all this actually happened, because we all got brainwashed. Our memories of the events and each other before I met her got erased. She randomly got brought back into myself as someone I met through the cell phone and then other events happened from there. I apologize I didn't get to meet any of you until right now. I wish I could have done a better job at protecting Sonia. I love her so much and I'd die before anything else were to hurt her."
Yuu smiled. "You are just like how Sonia told me if you. I think you're perfect for her. Protect my sister. Don't let anything bad happen to her, you hear me?"
"Don't worry. I'll kill anyone who tries to hurt her."

Yuu shook his head in an agreement. Dinner was finally ready, we all prayed before we ate, and I was giving the privilege of saying the prayer.
"Thank you for this wonderful woman's cooking dear lord, thank you for finally giving us the chance to sit down as a family, for bringing Sonia to me and having us get back home safely. Dear lord, thank you for giving my brother back to me, thank you for Sonia's family for accepting me into their home and life, and for giving me the chance to do this..."
I got out of my chair, and pulled a box out of my pocket. As much as I was in pain in my leg, I got down on my knee, Sonia had her hand over her mouth and tears filling her eyes. I opened the box, showing off a ring. "Sonia, will you make me the luckiest man in the world, the most happiest man in the world and marry me?" I smiled at her. She started crying.
"Yes! Yes! Of god yes!" She said. I put the ring on her finger, and hugged her tightly. I started crying myself.
Sonia's family starting clapping. And cheering for us.
"I love you Sonia, I don't want to live without you."
"I love you too Saeyoung. I cannot live without you."

We finished up dinner and headed back to the apartment. Sonia started wedding planning as soon as we got back. I helped her out, and we discussed when it'll take place and when we are gonna tell everyone else.

The next day, Saeran was able to come home, we decided to announce the engagement and have a welcome home party for Saeran, but also Sonia and I. We invited her family, and the whole RFA. Of course V couldn't be here, but I'm sure Jumin will return the news.

As the party started and everyone showed up, we announced Saeran into the RFA and signed him up with an account. Yoosung announced that Rika is doing well and looks like she'll be able to come home soon too. Jumin gave Jaehee a promotion for her hard work and it made Jaehee the happiest I've ever seen her. Zen got a major role in a new movie, and Yoosung also was able to get a job at a coffee shop across from his apartment. Everyone had so many good news, it was a very great day.

We announced our engagement, and it made the whole day even greater. Jaehee and Sonia started having girl talk and she offered to help plan. Which Sonia accepted.

After the party ended, Sonia helped Saeran get all the hair dye out and have his natural hair color come back. She also helped him get settled into the guest bedroom. I told him before Sonia and I went to bed that if he needed anything to just come get one of us.

I climbed in bed next to Sonia and cuddled up close to her. I kissed her goodnight and watched as she fell asleep. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with this girl.

It feels great to finally be able to lay down and sleep without the feeling of worry, without being scared of Sonia getting ripped away from my hands. Without worrying if my brother is okay. Without any fears at all. I was able to fall asleep that night without problems.

It was over. The resting was over. It was all over. I have my brother back. I can finally have my family together. Forever.
