Chapter 5: Venting

Zoe's POV:
I am skateboarding home with Jamie. Jamie's a great brother, maybe we could be like that envy brother and sister and I vent to him and he gives me great advice. I chuckle to myself. That'll never happen. I decided to ask a question, just to see what he says. "Jamie, what would you do if I was a lesbian, or bisexual?" I ask. Jamie hesitated. He looked at me to see if I was joking. By the look on my face, he knew I wasn't joking. "I wouldn't care, you're still my little sister and I'll love you no matter what." Wow. I did not expect that. I look at him and just hug him. Next thing you know I'm crying. He asks "Do you want to talk about it?" I shake my head, showing I said no. "Later", I tell him. I didn't want to tell him everything yet. He knew Amanda and I were close, I want to tell Lauren first. I let go of him and we walk onto our street. I don't realize how fast time is going when you're thinking. Deep. Thoughts. Next thing I know Jamie is holding the door open for me. I walk in and text Lauren.
Me: Are you coming? I'm home.
Lauren: sure, im on my way. See you in 5
Me: ok be safe
(20 MINUTES LATER)
Lauren's POV:
"Hey Zoe" I say walking in. She says hey. We head to Zoe's room. Zoe and I have been friends for a while, but this isn't often, when she calls me over, something is wrong. "What's wrong?" I say. Zoe and I look each other in the eye for about 10 seconds. Then she shatters. She just burst into tears. "Everything IS WRONG". She says while drowning in tears. I hug her tightly and dry her tears with my jacket sleeve.
Zoe's POV:
I take a deep breath. I think I can trust Lauren. "I- I like Amanda." I look at Lauren's face. No facial expressions changed. "If you like her than you like her why are you crying?" "She's dating Amy." I say with anger. "Tell her how you feel." Lauren says to me, almost commanding me. I shake my head vigorously. "She will never know unless you tell her!" "FINE." I yell. I understand she's trying to help me, it's just hard. "Do you want me to stay the night?" "Only if we can cuddle" I say smiling. She smiles and texts her mom to inform her about staying the night. I let Lauren borrow my shorts and we layed in bed and drifted to sleep.

(NOTES: Yes it sounds like Lauren and Zoe like each other but no it's a usual to cuddle and care for eachother :). Are you enjoying this fan fiction?)
