The ground shakes and the space around me darkens in colour as the screams of angels join eachother. Angels start to fall to earth in their desperate attempt to be with him. But i know the truth god has forsaken us and he doesn't want us to follow, he wants us to fall. I try to help like the physcologist of angels but faith rules over all i suppose and that's what drives them to a clueless life on earth, spectacular beings amoung mere mortals. I place two fingers to my temples and rub small circles into them as i sigh.
"Naomi can you please stop that!" I raise my hand as she releases my shirt and ceases her pleads. "Do you really think a group of angels so in love with their creator will listen to one of their own? I'm nothing to them." I weave through the falling pillars and head for my safe haven. Even though the sky is dark and the pond water laps on the bank in waves, its still beautiful and its away from the screams of helpless beings. It just proves that even the immortal beings are as weak as the mortal ones when they are pushed to far. I remove my shoes and stand on the edge of the bank and as the water laps up on the edge and coats my toes, I fold my arms across my chest and sigh . I'm interupted by the crys of Yazmine.
"Micheal, why aren't you doing anything? Why are you standing back here turning a blind eye to the chaos? We need you! Can you here me dammit we need you." I wince as she speaks, my history with Yazmine has been a long, and hard one. Complications and to much drama for one millennium. I turn to her as I unfold my arms and look at my, now bare feet. I can't look her in the eye anymore it hurts to much. Those beautiful hazel eyes with flecks of gold splashed through them. But i take a deep breath and suck it up.
"What do you expect me to do Yazmine? I don't understand what you expect me to do about any of this! He left us remember? The sooner they realize that the better!" I pinch the bridge of my nose and shake my head as I slide past her and walk away.
"Where are you gonna go? Theres nothing left." I shrug and turn around as i walk backwards I throw my hands up with no energy what-so-ever before turning back around. To be honest i never really saw anything here before either. Heaven is made up of everyones hopes and dreams, nothing for angels, we just sorta followed around and made sure everything stayed as "peaceful" as it was. To tell you the truth, I'm glad he left, he was a drunken fool if ever I've seen one. He was constantly drunk off the power that came with running this giant place, he was drunk off the belief people had in their god almighty. But science stepped in and belief slipped away from most leaving God quiet powerless and so he created hell. You dont have to believe in hell for it to have power. Fear and hatred, thats all it needs and with the human race as corrupt as it is it's not hard to get that.
