Without me knowing, they had prepared a welcome party, and Zoe being herself, had the time to organize a picnic on the beach. Everything was perfect, everybody was lovely. And now, I was sitting on the pebbles looking at those sweet people that just welcomed me like no one else ever did.
"Hey, Ella! Enjoying yourself?"
It was Joe, I didn't see him coming. I might admit that he had me speechless. I was losing myself in his magnificent eyes.
"Oh huh yes I love it. You guys are so sweet. I never could imagine something like this. Zoe always has good ideas. And I can't help but feel lucky that you all made the move just for me. I feel blessed. Thanks. "
"It's a pleasure. We're all happy that you finally made the move to join us here. Zoe the first."
"And Joe second, he couldn't sit still this morning. "
"Shut up Alfie, you know I hate to sit still."
"And I also know you like Ella, a lot."
