Nova's POV
Me and X been hangin out the past couple days, he's actually really cool. He's about to come pick me up so we can go to the movies, but it's going to be his boys and my girls there too so I don't think it's a date....is it? Anyway I was putting on my wearing when Kendrick walked in and say on my bed, he's become like a big brother some he's always here. I heard he was in the game too.
I had on a black fitted half shirt, black booty shorts, black and white chucks, and my jean vest. I'm basic tonight.
"Where you goin lil bit, a play date?" Kendrick asked laughing. He stay trinna get on me about my age cause he like 20
"No, smart ass. If you must know, I'm going out with my friends" I retorted putting on my silver hoops and clear lip
gloss.
"What friends, you betta be talkin about Julia and Cassy cause I don't want to have to fuck no lil boys up" he said seriously
"Nahh im going out with the girls and X and his boys" I said putting the cap back on my lip
"Hell no! You might as well take all that shit off cause you ain't goin no damn where wit them lil niggas" he screamed making me jump. Kendrick is usually a chill dude, fuck wrong with him.
"Why? Wait a minute, you not my daddy I can do whatever the fuck I want" I said rolling my eyes "Asha, come get ya nigga fa I put the paws in his life" I screamed
"Ion know what the fuck you callin her for. First off X is way to old for you and second I'll be damned if you think you bout to get involved with the streets. Your a little as kid, stay in ya place" he screamed at me
"What's going on here" Asha asked looking between both of us
"Nova trinna go on a date with X" Kendrick said not taking his eyes off of me
"First it's not a date. Cassy and Julia goin too. And second you not ma daddy, where do you get off tellin me what to do"I said with an attitude
"No, I agree with Ken, you can take it from here babe" Asha said walking out, this bitch.
"Sit cha ass down Nova" Kendrick said calmly pointing to the bed
"Man fuck this, they gon be here any minute and I ain't got time for this shit" I said walking towards my bedroom door. I was yanked back by my hair and flung onto the bed, Kendrick straddled me holding my neck. At this point I was scared for my life and I started crying and struggling.
"Your not going no fuckin where, try to leave, I fuckin dare you" Kendrick said getting off of me. "Call them and tell them you can't come" Kendrick ordered, I scrambled to do what he said. X asked a million questions and I just said I would see him at school and hung up.
"Stay here, I'll be back" Kendrick said leaving the room and talking my phone with him.
About 15 minutes later I heard screaming and crying and my door flung open and Cassy and Julia fell into my floor but the door closed just as fast as it opened. I rushed over to them to see if they were ok. Sure enough Julia had a black eye, and Cassy had a bruise on her cheek, I had hand prints on my neck where Ken had choked me.
"What happened to you two" asked concerned.
"I don't know De'Andre came in my room yelling while I was getting ready. He said I don't need to be doing out with boys and I was to young for boys. I tried to leave and he smacked me" Cassy explained, De'Adndre is her older cousin and very over protective. I didn't know he was in the streets.
"I was walking down the steps and I felt somebody punch me. I jumped up ready to fight and it was Joey. He said I was to young to be actin like a hoe and that shit would get real if he ever heard about me fuckin around with any of them" Julia explained Joey is her older brother and he would literally KILL any nigga that even looked at her wrong.
I explain my story to them and we sat there and cried together until we heard a tap on the window. We all walked to the window consciously, when I pulled back my curtains it was the boys, I quickly opened my window.
"What are yall doing here, if the boys hear yall they will kill yall" Julia told them
"I told yall something didn't sound right" Omari said
"The fuck happened to yall faces" X said angrily
"Some shit went down" I said calmly
"Who are these niggas" Monty asked
"We can't explain that, yall need to go before shit gets real in this bitch" Cassy whispered
"It just did" a deep voice came from behind us. We all turned around and seen De'Adndre, Joey, and Kendrick with their guns drawn. The boys pushed us down and quickly climbed in the window and pulled out guns, they did that shit in under 3 seconds, these niggas rehearse or naww.
Now it's us standing between 6 dudes pointing guns at one another ready to kill for us.
"It's about to go down" Cassy said looking between all the boys.
