Chapter Two

Nova's POV

Here we are standing in the middle of this big mess. We look like a deer in headlights.

"These is lil ass girls. I knew yall wad some pussy ass niggas but damn" De'Adndre said pointing this gun at Monty. Monty looked murderous.

"Look here nigga ima leave here with Cassy either way so..." Monty walking up behind Cassy. She just looked down because there was no doubt that she would be leaving here with Monty. She been crushing on him forever and if you ask me De'Adndre put his hands on her one to many times anyway. She has to live with him because both of her parents died in a car crash like two years ago.

"I'll be damned if I don't walk out of here with Nova" X said grabbing my waist and slamming my back into his chest. I like my life but I know that no good will come from me staying here. Truth be told Asha doesn't even want me here. I held my head high looking right into Kendrick's eyes, he shot me daggers.

"You got me oh so fucked up if you think Julia is staying here" Omari said cocking his gun. I really think that Joey touched Julia before. One day in the summer Julia came over here crying, her legs were bruised and bloody.

"Y'all really think we gon let y'all leave and just chill wit that. Nahh fam" Kendrick said never letting our sight break.

"Nova, get ya little ass over here. I know you not bout to choose a nigga over blood" Asha said coming from behind the boys.

"Bitch shut the fuck up for I wreck your bum ass. I can't even believe you talk about us bein blood. You haven't given a fuck about me since mom left. Fuck you and your no good ass nigga." I yelled at her

"What? I been talkin care of you since she left. Nobody gave a fuck about you but me you dumb bitch" She yelled back.

After hearing that I went to leap for her, but X's grip was to tight around my waist. "Chill ma, you too pretty fa that ratchet shit" he whispered in my ear. I don't know why but that instantly calmed me down.

"You know what, fuck this. I'm going with Monty. D you ma fam and I love you but this shit ain't finna happen no more" she said pointing to her face.

"Really, Cas. You gon do me like this after all I did for you. That's grimy as fuck. But I hope you know I'm always gon do what's right for you. That's why I can't let you leave with this nigga" After he said that he started firing. Monty pushed Cassy on the floor. X and Omari did the same thing to me and all the boys started firing. Kendrick got hit in his chest by Omari and Dre got hit I'm his leg by X and Monty hit Joey in shoulder.

After they boys were down Asha scrambled over to Kendrick and started crying and calling 911.

"Come on yall hurry up for the pigs be in here" Monty says moving us towards the door. Everybody was running down the stairs and I was the last one. Before I left the room I turned and looked at Asha.

"You say your my sister and that you give a fuck. This is your test to see if you care more about me or your nigga" I said. Then I blew a kiss at her and ran out with the everybody else.
