Calvin laid in his hospital bed as his sickness spread through his body. You were laying right beside him, finger combing his hair. You fought back your tears as you thought of the worse. You were hoping, and wishing Calvin would be alright. Calvin's friend, Billy is suppose to be meeting Calvin today. He says he has something to give Calvin...
"(Y/N)." Calvin calls out your name, opening his adorable eyes
You have all your attention on Calvin.
"Yes?" You answer him
He holds your hand tightly saying, "If I die-"
"No! Please don't say that." You shook your head as a few tears fell down your cheeks
"Listen to me! If I die, take over my YouTube channel. Tell everyone that I've went back to college."
"Why lie?!"
"I don't want you to go through all that shit." Calvin says as he was tear-eyed
This was the first time you've seen Calvin emotional. This was very surprising, you felt like bawling on his chest.
"Calvin, there is something you should know." You say, looking down at the ground
"What is it?"
Your eyes met with his. The words slowly slip your mouth saying, "I love you."
Calvin looked shocked, putting his hand over his mouth. He hugs you tightly saying, "I love you too (Y/N)! I want to thank you for being there!"
Someone taps on the door lightly.
"Aye Calvin." Billy says, entering the hospital room
Billy had a basket full of fruits. He lays the basket on Calvin's bedside.
"While you're in here, eat these." Billy says, pointing at the basket of fruits
"Alright." Calvin sighs
"I'm being serious."
Calvin sits up in his bed, grabbing a fruit from the basket. A handful of cherries in the palm of his hand.
"Eat it Calvin. You haven't ate anything all day to begin with." You cross you arms
Calvin puts the handful of cherries in his mouth, chewing on them. Blood rushes to his cheeks = as he continued chewing.
"I hope he likes them." You mumble under you breath
"These are pretty good." A smile forms on Calvin's beautiful face
Billy glances over at you with a big smile on his face.
*Time Skip*
"Visiting hours is up!" The nurse says as he enters Calvin's room
"Alright." You say getting up from the chair, with a long sigh
"Bye Calvin." Billy daps Calvin
"Bye dude." Calvin chuckles
You hug Calvin tightly saying, "Bye Calvin."
"Bye (Y/N)." He says coldl
*Time Skip*
For the rest of the night, you thought about Calvin. You couldn't think about anything else new. You was felt empty, knowing his time was almost up. Shook woken up your bones each breathtaking thought. You couldn't go to sleep because the black & white dreams that appeared in the darkest ways.
You stayed up that whole night, drinking coffee. The phone rings...
You took a long pause before answering the phone. You finally answer the phone saying, "Hello?"
"Hello Ms. (L/N)?" The doctor says
"Um, yes?" You gulp, slumping in your chair
"Calvin Vail will be arriving home tomorrow."
You widen your eyes as you were in shock.
"Wait..what?!"
"We've done tests, and the cancer is gone."
A small smile forms on your face. "Alright. Thanks for telling me." You say
"No problem. Goodnight."
"Goodnight." You say, hanging up the phone
You start breathing rapidly. You were so happy Calvin was alright. Teras streamed down your cheeks from happiness you was feeling right now. All you had to worry about was getting him well...
That Morning...
Calvin arrives in your home, sitting down on your couch.
"I'm so glad I'm home." Calvin says as he looked so happy
"I'm so glad you're alright." Your voice cracks as you were hugging Calvin
Calvin hugs you tightly as he needed you right now the most. He was wanting to stay with you forever. It probably sounded like a cringey, romantic plot that will end with a happy ending. But, there was more to the story...Maybe?
Someone knocks on the door as if they were the police.
"What the hell you?" You exclaim, heading towards the door
It was Emma. Calvin looks back, slumping in his chair.
"I want to see if Calvin's alright!" Emma says
"Just leave." You shook your head
Tears were standing in her eyes. Calvin doesn't say anything, hoping she would just leave. Emma runs away. You close the door, locking the door.
You sit next to Calvin.
"(Y/N)." Calvin's eyes were glistening as his eyes were gazing in the atmosphere
"What's up?"
"I'm sorry for all this shit I put you through." Calvin hugs you tightly. He slightly breaks the hug, pecking your lips. He was wanting someone to cherish, keeping forever. His strong hands traveled on the upper half of your body. He whispers a few words in your ear. Chills came up your spine as he coldly told you these few words.
"I am so glad you exist." You bluntly says
Calvin kisses your forehead saying, "I'm go glad I found someone that ended my suffering."
