"What am I doing with my life?" I grunted as I shuffled through the pipe. I could hear the loud dubstep at the end of the tunnel - someone having a dance off? With that kinda music, I'm guessing Nino's got in on the action. I thought to myself. Nino was the only person in the entire club that I knew the real name of. I usually referred to him as 'The DJ' around everyone else - I guess it's a tradition to call people by their stage names - like Eminem or whatever. I kept wiggling down the pipe - I could hear cheers and chatter now.
"Hey, welcome back, LB!" I heard the DJ panting.
"Heya!" I could hear Ladybug's voice loud and clear. I expect she knew I was listening.
"You totally DOMINATED Chat back there!" Nino shouted. I rolled my eyes as I shuffled down the pipe further, in hopes of finding the vent LB was talking about. Sure enough, there was one facing right above the dance floor - I could now hear AND see Nino and LB's conversation.
"Yeah, I guess I did..." She smiled sheepishly.
"That Cat's NEVER coming back!" Nino laughed. What? I thought. Aren't you SAD I left the club? You know, your only FRIEND here?!
"Hey, I wouldn't be so sure." LB put her hand on her hip.
"He'd be foolish to come back." Nino grumbled. "He'd be pummelled to a crisp by Des!" (Dessinateur, aka Tomato boy Nate)
LB turned around and pointed to something beyond my sight.
"That thing?" She murmured as she looked back at Nino. He paused.
"Yeah, I see what you mean..."
"Did you even like Chat?" LB asked.
"I...I dunno." Nino shrugged as I flinched in horror, banging my head on the vent top.
"Oh my god, there's something in the vent?" I heard a voice yell. Damn, I thought, as a bunch of people started moving around in search of the thing in the vent, aka - me.
