Today's been a demanding day.
I'm sitting here by myself.

Looking over my window,
There are families here and couples.
There are so many people.

But I'm all alone.

It would have been nice if we were there together.

What should I do now?
Where do I have to go now?

I'm so scared.
I feel so stuck.

Why did you do it?
Why did you go and leave me here all alone?

It's been two and a half years since you left,
And I still can't move on from you.

Flashback

It was a month of May when he and I met up to celebrate our 11th monthsary. I was incoming junior by then, and he's an incoming senior when classes start at June.

"It's over." he said while removing his hand from our fingers intertwined.

"What? Anong sinasabi mo dyan? What are you saying?" I said casually.

"Ayoko na. Tama na. Let's break up."

I was stunned for a moment when he said those three words. Let's break up.

"Are you kidding me? Wag ka ngang magbiro dyan, Zaizai."

"Seryoso ako dito, Francesca."

He never said my full name not unless he's that serious.

"But why? Akala ko ba mahal mo ko?"

Now there's small tears escaping my eyes.

"Yun din ang akala ko. I can't do this anymore."

"Wag ka ngang magbiro ng ganyan."

"Hindi ako nagbibiro. At first akala ko I was getting serious with this game. But I was wrong."

"Game?"

"Oo game. Laro. Everything that happened between us was all just a bet."

"What the hell? So lahat ng ito laro lang sayo? Pinagpustahan niyo lang ako?!"

"I'm sorry.

I left while I heard him screaming for my name. I run fast not knowing where I'll go. The tears keep coming and as if the world is celebrating with me, it rained.

Goodness. Can this day get any worst?
