DREW'S POV
"Goodnight Jade," I whispered as she peacefully slept on her bed. It was a very busy day for her as she shot her commercial today.I could'nt drop in to check her because i had a lot of work to be done, but i came back as soon as i finished work.
Iam sure she did a great job. But still she is very unhappy because of Angelica's disappearance. But somehow she managed to smile when i spent more time with her. After our 'awkward' night, We decided to throw it away and have a new begining.
I taught her how to play the guitar and ride my bike. I was so relieved to see her smile and decided to spend more time till she finally recovered. In her sleep, she lazily said, softly. "Drew ?" I come closer and brush a lock of hair from her forehead. "Yes ?" I asked. "Thanks, thanks for everything." She replied with her eyes closed and her lips still smiling.
"You're welcome" I lightly kiss her forehead. I Locked the door with the emergency key Jade gave me, so i can drop in all the time. But that was not really necessary. I went down and i saw someone lying on the floor. I went closer and saw that it was Angelica.
"Angelica !" I called and ran to her. She was pale and unconsious. I saw a pair of crutches near her. I picked her up and carried her to their appartment. I banged on the door loud enough to wake Jade up. I waited for sometime and i banged the door one more time. "Iam comming !" I heard her yell. He opened the door.
Her eyes widened when she saw me carrying the unconsious body of her best friend. "Angelica !" She whispered in horror. I gently put her on the couch. "Is she ok ! oh please be okay Angel !" Jade cried. "I'll be back !" I called and ran down to get the crutches.
My heart was racing and a million thoughts rushed through my mind. Is it really Angelica ? Is she hurt ? What happened to her ?

ANGELICA'S POV
Darren is gone. He is leaving me. How can he do that ? My Tears keeping falling down and it's like i cannot stop them Why did Darren do this ? Is this some kind of a plan ? I cant believe him ! He made me fall in love with. Iam sure. Or else how will I like him ? His attitude is horrid !
But..... he ... cant help it. According to Anastasia, something caused his swings. Well, damn that "thing" that caused his swings. I think underneath all that is a soft Darren. The one I Met when i first talked to him, the day he smiled at me. My head feels so heavy, I-I Think..... iam ....about .....to .... pass out.....................

My eyes fluttered and i could see Jade's eyes staring at me. "Angelica !! Angelica ! can you hear me ?" she cried. I did not know how to respond. I wanted to cry out in happiness because i saw my friend and i was home. But instead i spoke like a retard.
"D-d-darren.... Darren ... Why did he leave me ?!" I cried with tears streaming down. "W-What ?" Jade asked, confused. Then I saw Drew comming inside with my crutches. "Angelica ! Are you alright ?" He asked, breathless. I Stared at him and dropped down crying. "What is with you Angel ! please tell me ! are you alright ?" Jade cried even more. "Darren ! Darren what did he do to me !" I whispered sorrowfully and before i knew it, i blacked out

I Open my eyes and i can hear Jade's voice crying. "What happened to her ? Drew ! I think she is gone crazy !" She cried harder. Drew's voice slowly said in a comforting tone. "Jade . Jade hold on, she is just frazzled. Iam sure. She will turn back normal any momment."
I look around and try to remember what happened. I just cannot forget his kiss and i can't forget him . I saw Drew comming in and i opened my eyes wider to let him know that iam awake. "Angelica ?" he asked ,smiling a little.
I had to be normal. At least 'act' being normal. "Hey Drew" I smiled pathetically. "Angelica ! You're alright !" He smiled widely and came closer to give me a hug. I felt better actually. His well build body, his strong hands and warm heartbeats . No wonder Jade fell for him.
"So glad You're okay." He smiled. "Jade !" He called. She ran in and sighed heavily. "Angel?!" she asked. "She is okay now !" Drew smiled ear to ear. "Oh Angel !" She ran and gave me a hug. "Hey Jade."
"Whatever happened to you ? are you hurt ?" Jade asked me with her eyes full of questions that needed to be answered. But i looked at her like an airhead and did not know how to reply. "Angel ?" Jade asked.
"Umm it's very hard to explain Jade." i slowly spoke. She looked at me and blinked. Iam sure she couldnt digest what i just said. "What ? what is going on ?" She asked ? Drew saw me and immediately came to help. "Listen Jade. Leave here alone for now. Maybe she is tired." He gently said.
Jade glanced at me and Drew. "How can I ?" She asked. "It is best if you do" Drew said. "Okay." She slowly said and left the room. I slapped my forehead. "Iam such an Idiot." I burried my face in my hands. "It's okay. Sleep. You will be alright tomorrow." He smiled. "Good night. He wished and almost left my room.
"Drew. Wait." I called. I cant hold it in anymore. I had to tell someone. He came closer and sat on my bed. "Okay what if i told that i was kidnapped by a bunch of... of ... 'gifted' people because someone dangerous was about kill me because one of the 'gifted' people liked me ?" I spilled out.
"Then I'd say that you lost half of your mind." He replied. "Okay that really happened." I spoke stubbornly. Drew looked into my eyes. "I cant believe it." He slowly spoke. "Iam sorry but that did happen. I almost lost my life. Twice," I said only to see His eyes widen.
"Yeah that happened. I was thrown into ice cold waters and later my ankle was broken." I slowly explained. "Wait wait hold up. you are telling me that you almost lost your life..... ???" He looked at me with even more confused eyes. "Drew this whole thing happened so quickly, I don't know how to handle it." I explained again
"How about forgetting the whole thing ? Just leave it as a bump in the road." He said. "Oh yeah, it will be harder than you think because i spend a few days in a Mutant's house." I replied. "Fine when you put it like that. But , Try" He focused so much into my eyes like he meant everything he said.
"Fine" I replied feeling like a total dumbass. "get some sleep. It will help you" He smiled. HE almost left my room. "Drew !" i called. "Yeah ?" He turned around. "Thank you and do you think I should tell this to Jade ?"
"She is your bestfreind. She will help you" he smiled and left.
