Amelia watched Fred walk away her eyes trailing after him, she felt horrible inside. He had come down here to make sure she was okay, and she basically just brushed him aside. He was like her older brother, it was his job to comfort her. She should show Fred more perfection for his efforts.

Meanwhile Harry Potter sat stiffly in his hospital bed pleading with Madame Pomfrey . "Just five minutes!" Harry reasoned. "Absolutely not," she grumbled in response. "You let professor Dumbledore in..." Harry trailed off becoming desperate. He wanted to see his friends more than anything. "That's quite different!" She snapped, then seemed to realize the small boy wouldn't stop pleading and his friends were right outside...

"Alright," she sighed. "Five minutes only!"

Amelia, Ron and Hermione practically tripped over themselves with running to Harry's side. He watched on with relief that they all were okay and amusement. "Harry!" Hermione was the first to speak, happiness dripping from her voice. Amelia instantly had the urge to tackle Harry with a hug, Ron seemed to notice this and had the good sense to hold her back. Harry was still fairly weak. Amelia glanced over at Ron, a silent messaging passing between the two. She settled for just squeezing Harry's hand, once her hand came into contact with Harry's she ripped away. Being zapped with contentment and a spike of adrenaline.

Harry's smile dropped into a frown, about to ask what was wrong when she cut him off. "Oh Harry, we were so worried. We didn't know what happened-,"
"The whole schools talking about it!" Ron interjected. Amelia scrunched up her nose aware of all the gossip and rumors spreading around the school like fire. Harry groaned after hearing this. "What really happened mate?" Ron asked with great interest, he hadn't noticed that he was still holding Amelia's hand. Harry hesitated a moment trying to figure out a good way to explain it. Amelia mistook his silence for discomfort. "You don't have to tell us." She said quickly.

With a shake of his head, Harry spilled everything: Quirell; the mirror; the stone; and Voldemort.

As Harry talked Hermione gasped a lot, Ron's eyes widened and Amelia stiffened. "So the stones gone?" Ron asked aghast. "Flamel's just going to die?!" Amelia finished barely able to get the words out. She had never met anyone who would just sacrifice themselves like that. "That's what I said." Harry agreed, seeming to guess her thoughts. "Dumbledore said: 'To the well organized mind death is but the next great adventure."

Amelie mustered up a light smile which Ron ruined by saying. "I always knew he was off his rocker." Amelia shot him a glare at those words. "So what happened to you three?" Amelia's eyes softens as she looks back to Harry. Hermione took a deep breath before telling the tale. "Well me and Amelia got back alright. We brought Ron around which took quite a bit of effort," this produced a chuckle from Amelia. Ron's cheeks flushed pink. "We were dashing to the owlery when we slammed into Dumbledore all he said was: 'Harry's gone after him hasn't he?' Then rushed off to the third floor." Harry took a few moments to process the information. Ron bombarded him with a question. "Do you think he meant to do it? Send your fathers cloak and everything?" Once the words left his mouth Hermione's chest puffed out and her face grew red making Amelia and Ron take a fleeting step away from her. "Well if he did that's terrible! Harry could have been killed." She was absolutely raging.

A thoughtful look masked Amelia's features. "No it isn't." She murmured, causing three sets of eyes to peer at her. "He's a funny man, I think he sort of wanted to give Harry a chance."

Harry weirdly understood where she was coming from while Ron just shook his head in disbelief. "Yeah Dumbledore's off his rocker all right."

Amelia suddenly remembered her talk with Fred and her eyes brightened. "Listen, you have to come to the end of the year feast. The points are all in and Slytherin won, of course." Amelia invoked an eye roll from anyone in the room, it was quite magical indeed. At that moment Madame Pomfrey bustled over. "It has been fifteen minutes! Shouldn't you lot be heading to the feast?! OUT."

Ron and Hermione quickly obeyed Ron tugging Amelia out but not before she sent Harry a lingering look. It felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders, her friends were okay it didn't matter that they had lost the house cup. Her mind quickly changed the moment she peeked inside the Great Hall.

To the trios displeasure Slytherins sickly green banners lined the walls, the three Gryffindors realized there was no escaping the terrible fate. Amelia shuddered as she saw Malfoy hanging around the entrance to the Great Hall, and of course Malfoy had Semira glued to his side. It seemed like whenever Amelia saw Malfoy Semira wasn't too far behind. Amelia scowled and kept her face impassive as she walked past. No, the world was against her- she couldn't just walk by it seemed she could never just walk by when Malfoy was involved. As far as Draco was concerned, Amelia was a challenge, he liked challenges. "Hey blondie! What's a matter? Got nothing to say after your defeat?"

Amelia glanced at Ron and Hermione as they all picked up their pace. Hermione rolled her eyes in agitation, while Ron's eye brows furrowed, he stared intently at Amelia. 'Just keep walking, he's a prat.' Ron mouthed. Amelia nodded along not wanting to cause any unneeded drama when the year was practically over.

Amelia froze.
"Oh cmon Drake they already have to deal with losing, don't rub it in their faces- let them keep the dignity they have left."

Amelia wasn't angered about the words, it was the way she said it. She had seen a side of Semira but it was like whenever she was around Draco she was a completely different person. It was Draco and his goons laughter ringing in her ears.

She became a different person.

Amelia whirled around, her massive curls flying around with her and her eyes blazing she stomped toward Malfoy and Semira.

"Maybe I don't want to say anything because I'm not a self indulgent self absorbed person like you two! I don't enjoy causing other people pain and embarrassment, it's sick that you two do! Honestly I feel bad for you because if you keep acting the way you do, you'll have no friends and that's not a way to live! You'll only have the damage that you have left behind!"

Ron and Hermione stood just behind Amelia, rooted to the spot. Never in a million years they thought Amelia would blow up like that. She was so level headed and calm. Not many people noticed this confrontation over the loud chatter but a few did. Two of them being the Weasley twins who couldn't keep the grins off their faces. "That's our girl." George laughed turning his head to Fred who nodded his grin growing wider as he stared at Amelia with admiration. Another person who noticed was Danielle Diggory, Amelia's best friend- somehow she knew this day would come. She hopped up from her seat and rushed over to Amelia, grabbing Amelia's clenched fists at her sides and concealing them. Amelia truly looked like she was gonna test her right hook on Malfoy.
"You better stop being a prat Malfoy and change your ways because I'm not going to be here to save you from Lia's anger every time." Danielle advised, her tone very firm. Without waiting for a response from him she dragged Amelia away, Ron and Hermione in toe behind them.

One last person noticed the confrontation. He watched the whole scene play out with a gleam in his eye, not many people noticed he was looking not even Amelia but lucky for you I did.

Albus Dumbledore watched as young Draco Malfoy angered Miss Amelia causing her to lash out. This actually was the first time he had seen the young blonde actually angered. So he watched with great interest as Miss Amelia gave Draco a stern talking to as well as his side kick Semira. He had been watching the violet eyed Slytherin all year, closely and carefully. There was something off about her, something yet to be revealed.

Yes Albus Dumbledore was an old man but upon watching this scene spotted true friends when he saw them, even the young Miss Diggory. Who while placed in Gryffindor, there was no denying she had Hufflepuff in her. It was these acts of selflessness that kept Dumbledore going. He decided they all needed to be awarded.
