Luhan was the first thing that I saw when I walked into the quiet and dim room.

"Hey." He said in a hoarse and strained voice, while his back was still facing me.

I replied with a simple hello while staring at him.

His back was hunched over, his shirt was wrinkled and his usually neat orange hair was dishevelled.

I knew that curiosity would kill me if I didn't ask him about his sister.

He turned to face me again, and for the first time, I looked into his broken eyes and saw how dark they were.

His eyes were bloodshot and had bags under them from lack of sleep.

Despite his weary form, he still looked pretty cute to me.

Wait what? I mean he looked alright with that thought I mentally slapped myself.

"Errmm, if you don't mind me asking, what happened to your...sister?" I asked with nervousness and anxiety dripping from my mouth.

Sadness filled his dark chocolate brown eyes once more as he looked to the ground with tears pooling his eyes.

"My older sister," he whispered, his voice cracking,

"She told me she was driving and a drunken man came out of nowhere in the intersection and hit her with his car."

His face fell into his hands, his pale white ,soft hands turned red slowly

while Luhan sobbed like a child.

The sight of him like this pained me and my chest ached.

"Ya," I said softly, holding his elbows.

I tipped his chin upwards so that he

was looking into my eyes,

"She's going to be fine. Yixing was also in the same accident. They'll be fine, and we're going to be there for them every step of the way, for however long it takes. They're going to be okay." I repeat.

He leaned in, making our foreheads touch.

A stray piece of hair covered my eyes, and in one swift motion, he brushed it away, tucking it behind my ear.

"Thank you." He whispered, his hands caressed my cheek slowly but carefully for a few more seconds but soon cleared his voice and stood up and walked out of the room in an awkward way.

I don't know how long I sat there, touching my cheeks again, processing what had happened ,the usual shy boy Luhan had shown a different kind of side but all I concentrated on was the way his warm hand touched my face, his warm, minty breath on my talking to me with care, his-
