JAXON'S POV

I pull Chelsea towards me and push her against the locker behind us. Our mouths move in sync and I am actually enjoying myself... Until someone yanks my hair so hard that I am pulled away from Chelsea and spun around to face my girlfriend's crazy best friend. Scarlett, I think her name is. Well, she's not really crazy, but she ruined my make out session so she must have a death wish.

"What the hell?!" I ask the crazy psychopath, who just interrupted my very enjoyable make out session, "can't you see we were in the middle of something?" I say, gesturing between Chelsea and myself.

"I wouldn't give a damn if you were in the middle of dying, because you also happened to be in the middle of breaking your now ex-girlfriend's heart!" She yelled, a little bit too loud for my liking.

I look over Scarlett's shoulder and see Everly standing in the corner by her locker, with hair hanging over her face and bloodshot eyes. I don't even feel bad. Sure she's crying and it's my fault, but what the hell? I didn't even like her to begin with. And now her crazy, dumb ass friend is yelling at me for it. Who does she think she is? My mother?

"What is your point here?" I ask, staring back at Scarlett, her flaming red hair adding to her raging appearance. It's rather amusing really, like if she were angry enough, her hair would actually burst into flame.

"Look here, Player. You can mess with your buds, you can mess with me, but don't you dare mess with my best friend!" She stabs me in the chest with her index finger as she yells, "You want to play? Well let's play then," and with that she storms off, leaving me standing against the lockers, dumbfounded.

The bell sounds and I leave Chelsea and walk to my locker, confused. What the hell was she talking about? I decide to forget about it for now and just go to class. I take my usual seat by the window, only to have Scarlett sit in the seat behind me. I can feel her stare piercing through the back of my head, as if she could make me disappear by looking hard enough. Now I only have to survive every other class with her... It's gonna be a long day.

Finally, the bell for last period rings and I all but run out of the room, trying to avoid Scarlett's constant glaring. I don't even know how such a tiny girl can be so terrifying. It's definitely the hair. I walk over to my locker and grab out my homework, not that I will be doing it. I look over to where Scarlett is standing, at her locker, looking down and typing something on her phone. Surprisingly, she is alone. Usually she is with Everly, but I don't really care. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and pull it out as Scarlett walks out of the building.

From Scarlett Evan:

I heard you're a player.

So lets play a game.
Lets sweet talk.
Lets play fight.
Lets text.
Lets say good morning and good night every day.
Lets go on romantic walks.
Lets give each other nicknames.
Lets go on dates.
Lets talk on the phone all night.
Lets hold each other.
Lets kiss and hug.

And the first one to fall in love?
Loses.

From Jaxon Williams:
