I pulled the keycard out of my left pocket and slipped it in the slot to unlock the door to my room. I walked inside and quickly closed the door behind me. I leant up against the door and took a moment to catch my breath. Boy did that fight tire me out. I stripped of my wet clothes and slowly walked over to my closet. I threw the soaked clothes into the hamper and scanned my wardrobe for an outfit. I didn't have much considering I only came with what was on my back. I settled on a grey wool knitted sweater and a pair of dark blue jeans. I put the clothes on, grabbed my key card and walked out of the room. I made my way over to the mess hall where I was supposed to meet Aaron and Tracer for a quick meal. I walked into the cafeteria and looked over the tables until I spotted Tracer.

"Hiya!" Tracer waved to me as I sat down beside her. I silently returned the gesture.

"Good fight out there today, love. I think he learned quite a bit about dealing with superhumans like yourself." Tracer complimented me while stuffing her face with a slice of pepperoni pizza.

"I couldn't agree more. He's a quick learner." I remarked, grabbing a slice of pizza off of Lena's plate. I took a small bite and looked around the mess hall. I started to think about my upcoming mission. Truth be told, I was pretty nervous. Even more so considering I've only ever been on one other mission and that didn't turn out very well. A familiar voice interrupted my thoughts.

"That spar was great. I never thought that I would fight a man that can deflect bullets with a sword." The voice said in excitement. I looked over and realised the voice belonged to Aaron.

"Aaron, you are a quick learner. You really did surprise me with that water gun. I bet there is nothing else that can top that." I complimented him.

"Well, you only saw a fraction of what I made. I can show you my hardware in the Valhalla." He said before taking a couple bites from his sandwich.

"Valhalla? What is that?" I asked, confused and curious.

He paused momentarily, swallowing his food. "It is the room I get my weapons from, which is near my bedroom. I can take you there once we are done eating."

Tracer tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention.

"Just a heads up, be sure to head to the conference room at 6:00PM for your mission briefing. Aaron, I need to talk to you for a minute." Tracer informed us.

"Aright then," Aaron says as the two get up and walk out of the mess hall.

"Alone again," I said out loud, taking another bite of my pizza. A few minutes pass and the two walk back to the table just as I take the last bite of my food.

I looked up at Aaron. "Hey, can we head over to this Valhalla room?" I asked, standing up from the table.

"Sure, follow me." He said, pointing to the exit.

We made our way to room 647. After passing it, we headed down the narrow hallway to the door under the security camera.

"This room contains stuff that no one has ever dared to make. Prepare to be amazed. Don't worry, the guns are not loaded." Aaron said in an excited tone. He scanned the card and opened the door.

The lights turn on automatically, revealing the wonders of the five areas in the room, a weapon skin studio, an armoury, a workshop, a firing range, and a combat practice arena. Aaron typed in the code to open the door to the armoury, allowing me to inspect the weapons

I looked at the weapons on the wall rack in awe. "Wow, you have a hell of a lot of firearms in here. There are some weapons I haven't seen before. Did you make them?"
