Leila POV
Early in the morning, I quickly get ready for school. I'm wearing alight make-up, pink t-shirt paired with sky blue skirt and a light brown sandals. It hasn't tried this kind of style. I want to change for a better since my best friend Tiffany told me too. I even haven't wear skirt except our uniform. I'm glad my best friend is helping me out. We transferred to Dreamer University from Cloud High School. We love Cloud University. It's just that it focus more into academic than student creativity. It doesn't mean that I'm a kind of person who loves music, art, physical education and health but I find it there boring. I and Tiffany got a chance to study her because of ESC Scholarship. In Dreamer University, a lot of singers, dancers, actors, actresses, and other successful people graduated her. For me, I want to be a successful businesswoman. Just like my mom. And for Tiffany, she wanted to become one of those popular actresses. Before I could forget, I should text Tiffany for now.

"Leila, Detective Roy is here!" Ms. Cathy shouted at the first floor.
"I'm coming!"
Mr. Roy is one of the renowned detectives. I hired Mr. Roy to found out a lot more information about Mom and Dad. Mom never comes home since I was three years old and for dad, he left me when I was 5 years old. That's not only my concern. I was curious who give me enough money to pay Ms. Cathy and Ms. Veronica. And to but things I wanted. It can be either because of dad or mom. I need to know.
When I was walking down the staircase, I saw Ms. Veronica and Mr. Roy talking very seriously until I interrupt. Ms. Veronica right away smile to me.
"What could be the two of you talking about?" I giggled
"I'll be in the kitchen, call me if you need anything."
"Are you telling me that to me or to him?" I teased
"Should we go to your case?" Mr. Roy offered
"Yeah...Let's go to my case." I rolled my eyes playfully
I sat down to the chair opposite Mr. Roy. He gave me a brown envelope. But before I could open it, Mr. Roy asks me something.
"Before you read everything inside that envelope, could you tell me what you remember the last time you saw both your mom and dad?"
I looked at him in the eye "As far as I know, mom is ill because dad said she will never be the same mom I know. And for dad, I thought he was away because of some business. That's what Ms. Cathy told me."
"Oh, no."
"What do you mean?"
"Read it Leila. You need to know." Ms. Cathy said at the back and she started to cry.
As I read all the written in the papers. I found out about my parents got divorce 12 years and 2 months ago. And Dad died at his age of 37 because of car accident. I don't get it. It's been 12 years and 2 months that I've been living in lies.
"Leila, I can explain." Ms. Cathy tried to get closer to me. I step closer and hand over him my payment.
"You have it. I know it anyway all the time. Sorry." He holds my hands before walking away.
"So... You know?" I tried to hold back my tears but sob escape through my mouth. I can see how sorry Ms. Cathy to me but I can't. I just can't bear to see the face of a person who I trust was lying to me all the time. She knew all along. Why can't she just let me know?
"All this time, you're lying to me? How could you?" I shouted at her. She just keeps on crying. I walk away back to my room.
"I'm so sorry. I just thought that you're too young to know about your parents. I encountered that in my life. I don't want you to know it the way I do." She holds my hands
"I'm different from you. I'll never be like you." I push her hands away
"Please Leila. I'm sorry."
I look back at her and said "You know what? I've had enough. You're fired." I walk away
"Leila, I'm really sorry. Darling, please."
So now she cares about her job, about herself. She's being selfish all this time. I don't need her in the house anyway.
"Leave now! Leave me alone! Leave!" I shot the door close.
I right away change my outfit into hoddie and a black jeans and a black-white converse. Welcome back, Leila. Welcome back.
