"Let's talk more about the stuff that you don't like about yourself. This makes me feel better." Black jokingly told White.
"Well, it doesn't mean that I don't like it, means I hate it..."
Black rolled her eyes, "I know. Talk."
White just deadpan looked at her and sighed, "Fine..." She gazed outside, "I think I'm gonna end up alone." Black's face quickly distorted and White sensed that so she continued right away, "I mean, yeah. I'm all great and good--yes. But, It's just that...
"People dream of having me but they can't handle the reality of me." She said, sadly.
It's true. People are the smartest being alive on earth but also the stupidest. Oh, look. The best of two worlds. Congrats.
"At my brightest state, I can be too much. And it's not my fault but you can't have an ocean deep of water to fit in your hands. It's too big. But it doesn't mean that it's not beautiful, stunning, or that it's too much in the worst way."
"I kinda I don't get it."
"Anybody can love you at your okay to best state. But not everyone can stay and handle it when it's in the middle of the night and I'm crashing down into the ground after soaring so admirably high... Everybody can love me. But won't love you, Black."
Black sighed, so it's her fault again. "It's not your fault." White stated. "Magkadikit tayo. Hindi pwede na ako lang dahil I'll get take advantage of. Hindi pwedeng ikaw lang, baka magstart ka pa ng world war 3 in the future. But together, we can have inner peace. Just here. Sitting in this little home we made ourselves in the middle of the storm."
"You'll get tired of me and you'll be lonely because no one can take care of you." Black said and White smiled timidly. "It's not like I have a choice. If they can't accept both of us, then the door is wide open. They can leave anytime."
"Even if you're madly, deeply in love with them?"
"Yes." White answered like she have never been so sure in her life. "I'll be sad that a person I loved is gone but I'll be okay and I'll move on. I can take care of myself okay, my other half."
"Just so you know, my loving half, I can't take care of you. You know that very well." White laughed lightly, "Yeah, I know. You're useless when it comes to taking care, Black. That's who you are.
"I can take care of myself. I'll be a little lonely and alone at times probably but I have you. I'm going to be okay if ever."
"I'm useless, White."
"I know." White smiled and touched Black's face, "But, I know you'll let me sit beside you. You're like a vicious tiger or monster. And I don't expect you to take care of me. I'll do that myself. It's enough that you're there and not an enemy of mine."
"I'm not good, White." White rolled her eyes at Black, "Duh."
"There is no assurance that I won't hurt you."
"You really think I don't know that?"
Black sighed, well she's sorry. Miss White, here, knows it all.
"Are you mocking me?" White shook her head, "Karma, Darkness. Karma. What goes around comes around."
"How about me? I do bad to you but you don't do bad to me. You do good to me but I don't do good to you."
White's forehead creased. Uh oh, Black said something stupiiid agaaain... "It doesn't work that way, Black. I do you good but that doesn't mean you will do good in return. You do bad but it doesn't mean I'll do bad to you too."
"Then, what? Enlighten me."
"I don't ask for anything in return but of course. It's how the universe was made--whatever you did, will be done to you. I do good, you don't treat me harshly. You do bad, you suffer the consequences."
"Uhm... Like?"
White sighed in defeat. Black, White is getting tired of your shit.
"Just like when I didn't commit the common mistake. I didn't treat you bad or try to push you away. I treated you nicely. I answered all your questions. I listen to you. Even it's already just pure nonsense already. Karma does her work and look, I can stay with you. You don't hurt me or do anything that can end me."
"But I did." And Black feels guilty about it. She does.
"Yeah. And look what happened. It fired back."
True. Black suffered her consequences. She'll possibility won't do it again because it burned her real bad.
"Can't I have a good karma?"
"You have good karma." White continued, "Me."
Why didn't she realized that? Of course. The treasure. She is her unlimited taste of heaven. Her only good thing in the world. But Black isn't White's good karma. She is the taste of hell.
"Don't you think it's unfair?" Black asked White whose light heartedly making coffee of her own.
"Nah uh." Said White, stirring her huge cup of French Vanilla coffee. "It's like playing fairly into a game that is unfair. You can't expect that you'll actually win. I don't ask for anything in return for what I do. I don't ask you to take care of me or to never do wrong. It's okay."
Black creased her forehead, "That's unfair. The world is unfair..."
Sunshine stopped stirring her coffee and looked up at Black whose arms are crossed in front of her chest and a kid. She laughed, slightly amused, "It's only fair."
"What? Are you stupid?"
White laughingly raised an eyebrow, "You play unfairly but you whine that I get treated unfairly." White laughed, "Do you hear yourself, Black?"
"Yes! I do! Tell me, why are you treated unfairly when you play fair?"
"Because you play unfairly, Black. That's why. Where do you think your unfairness go? Why don't you ask why you play unfairly rather to ask why I am treated badly?"
That shut her up. What goes around, comes around.
"The world and the universe isn't unfair, Black. I've seen it. It isn't. It is completely, perfectly, and precisely fair."
"Then why some are suffering? Why do some people starve or die? The world is unfair, White."
White squinted her eyes at Black, "You are asking all the wrong questions." She breathe in and out. "Why do some people have more food on their table than they can consume? Why do things to make other people suffer? Don't ask why to the effects. Ask why on the cause."
Black was about to say something again but White raised her finger to stop her, "Every person is tied to every other. Everything you do ripples. Humans are supposed to act, think, and work as one. No one is above each other. But clearly, it isn't happening. Greed takes a lot to Fairness. Greed disrupts Balance. The answers are literally in front of you. You just have to open your eyes."
Black is silenced. Maybe the world isn't really unfair. The people are just really greedy.
Million of points goes to White, zero to Black.
