Tooth explained to the other guardians what she just saw and not seeing pitch made her worry even more but she was quite mad at pitch for doing something like that to jack. Everyone was mad North placed jack in his room to rest up and made sure he'd get bunnymund to check every few minutes on him. Pitch soon went over looking quite worried "is jack here?..I've been worrying-" he was cut off by tooth "why would you torture him! He's just a kid and your not making anything better" North stepped in looking very mad "your not taking him back pitch.. we're not going to let you.." pitch raised his brow slightly confused "I wouldn't hurt frost, I went away for a few days so I won't try it..where is he" pitch growled under his breath and crossed his arms "he's with bunnymund right now trying to get him to eat..".
Jack pushed bunny outside the door and closed it wanting to be in piece , but bunny still stood at the door not wanting to leave jack alone. While pitch argued with north and tooth , Jack decided to finally eat. He didn't have much but he still had something. Jack soon went quiet for a while as bunny tried to open the door but it was stuck "jack, open the door mate..." with no answer he started to worry more but as bunny tried to push open the door some dark liquid started to run around it. In a panic he called out to the other guardians they ran over to see what was happening "he's stuck in there.." pitch slowly went over and looked very surprised " don't touch that.." he stated as the guardians looked at pitch "why not? " north questioned . Pitch got to the door and sighed "if you push that door and it lands on that stuff jack will scream..I've seen this happen once..her mother helped her out of it" bunny crossed his arms as his ear twitched "when did you become the expert...we don't need your help" pitch rolled his eyes " you've got no choice rabbit do him a favour and get that Kid ..Jamie " bunnymund looked at North as North nodded .bunny sighed going and grabbing Jamie .
Pitch sighed going in and looking at jack slightly horrified. He got closer and crouched down to jacks face , shaking his head " frost you need to stop.. get up and smile again I've got Jamie coming and he can't see you like this" jack didn't answer pitch and he sighed
" I apologise for what I did for those days..I know you can hear me, stop this now and let's get you home .." still no answer but jack hid open his eyes ; his eyes looked like grey empty sockets. Pitch sighed with relief as he got a better sign jack wasn't out for good . "Im getting tired frost cut this out.." pitch couldn't think of anything he gently held jacks head and softly kissed him. Jack blinked multiple times and blushed darkly "y-y-you.. hi..." pitch smirked picking jack up as the stuff disappeared around him and gently placed him down "Jamie should be here soon.." jack nodded slowly and walked out as tooth hugged him tightly "oh your alright! Thank god!" North looked at pitch and nodded as pitch looked away ."Jamie's coming?" He smiled pulling back from the hug. Just as they mentioned it bunnymund and Jamie appeared . Jamie smiled hugging jack "your ok! " jack hugged back slightly and smiled "yeah I'm fine..." Jamie nodded grabbing his hand "can we go skate?..just us two?" Jack looked at pitch and he nodded disappearing from sight "I guess so let's go!" Jack smiled grabbing Jamie and leaving heading to the lake. Both skated until the sunset and jacks mood changed back completely . Jamie laughed grabbing a snowball and throwing it at him "stay over for the night jack.." . Jack narrowed his eyes and then smiled "of course I will..just for the night though ok?"
