Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoy my new werewolf story!

Prologue

The sun peaked in from the gloomy grey sky that encompassed every car into an endless mist that made the pavement of the road almost seem nonexistent. The clouds parted and the sun’s rays became slowly onto the road, illuminating the yellow lines for people to see. Though, most people took this day to stay inside, there was only a few people on the road, but only one with a purpose that could not be discontinued or halted in any event; no mater if there was a snow storm or if a tornado struck in the suburbs area that they passed,;they had to make it to their destination without a moment of delay.

The car accelerated, the driver looked at the time, his lips chapped by the amount of times his teeth sunk into them. His saliva coated over his lips, and his eyes squinted onto the golden watch that rested on his wrist.

Only a half hour left to their destination.

Behind the driver was his dutiful son.  His son, Sebastian, looked through the window, his eyes following every drop of rain that slid down. Sebastian knew that what he was doing was mandatory for all werewolves, but he couldn’t help but feel the tiniest bit of nervousness seep into his skin until it enveloped his whole body.

“The ritual will go well, everything will go as planned.” He thought to himself, as he ran his fingers thought his chocolate colored hair, using the silkiness of it to soothe him as the destination neared.

The fathers’s hands tightened on the wheel as the rockiness from the pavement shook the car. He looked at the rear-view mirror at his son, a small smile slid onto his face as he remembered his nervousness to the arrival of the place where he met his wife. He looked ahead and saw the cabin centered in the depths of the forest, and his mind flooded with memories of his wife. The trip was made between Father and son, and vice versa if the child was a girl; the spouse that stayed home was supposed to stay home and prepare for the arrival of a new member of the family. The head lights of the car, was enough light to see the narrow pathway that had miniature lights to guide the way up the trail.

Sebastian looked out the window, his palms sweating as he rubbed them over his jeans to keep the moisture off his already clammy hands.  He stared up at the destination, and breathed through his nose to calm himself, to dissemble himself from the nerves that threatened to override him.

He opened his car door, and took a step outside of his car. The spacious cabin was built with the wood that was around them; for a sense of privacy on the land where the ritual was to be taken place, and also for the climates that may seem unbearable for young werewolves.

Sebastian heard from his relatives that this was the place where the one was chosen. It was the place where his grand parents met, his parents met and so on, and he knew that now it was time for him to meet his other half. The one that was destined to be his wife. His father put an arm around his shoulder and together they walked up towards the cabin door.

What he did not know was that complications were destined along his path, and his reputation of being a dutiful son was not going to be upheld much longer.
