I open the door, my jaw drops in shock, but I regain my control and I close it. Rachel comes up behind me confused at my reaction.

"Why and how are you here?" I say through clenched teeth. The three guys from our old school in Colorado were standing outside our motel room in California. It was no coincidence; it was creepy and definitely scary though.

"We have our ways," Ares says smirking at my reaction or maybe it was the fact I was in a backless halter top and shorts. I smile back but my eyes are a cold glare.

"Yeah, we have our ways too. Rachel?" I turn to her smiling evilly and she gets the point, turning around and going to get supplies from my bag. I turn back towards the boys and punch Pol and Sean in the jaw knocking them out, I tried not to break their necks. Ares in the middle, looking a bit shocked that his men went down so quickly, I take advantage to kick him in the gut making him double over before ramming my knee into his head making him unconscious as well. "Sorry Ares, but I cannot trust you, so we will have to find out all that you know."

                                                            -Ares-

For the second time ever I wake up from being knocked out by a girl. My dignity is officially starting to fade away. I feel metal around my wrists and ankles. My arms are cramping above my head, I groan and open my eyes. Rachel is standing right in front of me; I jump a little seeing her so close to me. I look around the small motel room in search of Sean and Pol. They both were to my right handcuffed the same as me. We were hanging off a coat rack on the far side of the room looking towards the door. I try to move my legs, but find them cuffed as well.

"Oh, they are all awake now, fabulous." I look to see Aphrodite standing in the doorway looking like she was going to dissect me. In her hand, she held what looked like a silver dagger with gold edges and I think what might be an animal bone handle.

"We do not mean either of you harm, if you could please release my friends and I-" Aphrodite cut me off before I could finish with a cold chuckle.

"You fallow us all the way from Colorado to California and you are saying you mean no harm?" She laughs again as Rachel shifts into her wolf form, a cream wolf with a black patch on her face from her left ear to hallway down her muzzle and the very tip of her tail black as well. She lays down by our feet looking at us like we are rabbits. Her amber eyes stare straight into mine before I clear my throat to speak again, trying to control my sudden nervousness.

"Couldn't we just be concerned classmates that got worried when you two up and disappeared?" I try to say in my most convincing voice, but it didn't look like they believed me. Rachel growls at me, baring her teeth, I sigh and surrender. "We were merely curious. Neither of you feels human, but you act it in every way. Rachel Felicity Connell a rare white lycan. An orphan until Aphrodite Camille Rose," I look up towards Aphrodite, "Took in the young Lycan under her aid and they have been traveling together since then." Pol and Sean gape at me revealing all that they know to them, but only a portion of what I know.

"You have not said what I am, or why we have traveled. You do not know much about us, but I give you the credit you know some. Do we get any information about you?" Aphrodite gives us a neutral expression and her voice gives nothing away, Pol and Sean have duct tape over their mouths so they shake their heads back and forth rapidly trying to tell me not to tell them. I, of course, ignore them.
