Into my hands the Moon fell
I nestled it to my chest
It was so small and so bright
I was blinded by it’s beauty
In the sky above
Stars began to fall
Heart broken over their lost
My greed eclipsed me morality
I held on tighter
Hid the Moon in my arms
More stars fell
The beauty of their grief filling the night sky
The Moon still in my arms shook
For it too mourned for the stars
Regretfully I held the Moon up to the stars
Spinning away from me towards the sky I saw its dark side
The Moons light reflected off of my tears
