Eight

Calum

I loved Annabella, she was like my own flesh and blood, without the physical appearance.

I sighed as I felt the bed shaking for the 5th time in the past hour, and wrapped my arm around Sienna, pulling her into me.

She sobbed into my bare chest, practically screaming.

"Sienna, please calm down" I said shakily, rubbing her back. "Please"

That made it even worse, so I sat up, crossing my legs and pulling Sienna into my lap.

"Look at me, baby" I said gently, making Sienna look at me.

"She won't be coming back Calum! I can feel it!" She screeched, sobs raking through her body.

"She will come back, I'll make sure of it. We got you back, we're going to get her back"

I wiped her eyes of tears, but more just kept coming.

"Breathe, 4 in 4 out, do it with me"

We done the breathing technique Sienna's physiatrist had taught her, and she eventually calmed down.

"The police are working on it, and if us, the boys and the girls have to work on it again, so be it, but we will get her back. I promise"

Sienna nodded, hesitantly.

"Lay down, go to sleep" I said, laying down and letting her cuddle into me.

"I love you, Calum"

"I love you, Sienna"

Sienna eventually fell asleep, I had waited until she did and I closed my eyes, allowing myself to fall asleep too.

A few hours later, I had woken up, it was bright outside and it was irritating my eyes.

I rolled away from the window, just then realising Sienna wasn't in the bed with me, but I could hear the TV downstairs.

I threw off the covers, getting up and pulling my sweats higher up my hips as they were sagging.

I walked down the stairs and saw Sienna curled on the sofa, the Tv playing the news, showing Annabella.

We had to do a press conference tomorrow and I'm sure I'd be the one speaking.

I took the remote from beside my wife, switching the channels.

"I was watching that" she muttered.

"It's not doing you any good" I replied, sitting next to her just as there was a knock on the door.

I got up, going to it to see Luke and Michael along with Brooke and Mila. I'm still not used to not seeing Ava.

"Calum..." Mila breathed out, hugging me. We pulled away after we heard footsteps, which were Sienna's.

"Hey guys" Sienna said, putting on the best smile she could.

Everyone shook their head, Brooke walking in and hugging her.

They all stayed for a while, us deciding to let them stay the night.

The police had been round a few times, asking questions we had already answered and they soon left.

Sienna had been a lot better today, not breaking down a few times every hour, just here and there.

We decided to say good night and Mila had whispered something to Sienna, making her smile, nod and say thank you.

We got into bed, Sienna was holding one of Annabella's stuffed toys and cuddled up to me.

"Good night, princess"

"Good night cal"
