(Song: Here We are from Undertale)
An intense stare was held between the two. Eridan's eyes uncomfortably pierced the very soul of this man. The look given to the demon was almost fearful, as though Signless were trying to come to grips with his faith in order to steady himself. His lips quivered, daring to speak to Eridan. "H-Hell9, w9uld y9u like t9 take a seat?" Eridan grinned a depraved smile as he striked fear within the heart of the priest. "No thank you, I'm doing just fine right here." His voice was softly spoken with a sort of sinister tone. Mr. Vantas swallowed the lump forming in his throat and nodded. "9-9f c9urse, yes uhm." Sollux grew quite anxious just sitting there. Eridan's eyes were all over him now, obvious as it was he began getting odd looks from his classmates. Just in front of Eridan sat Feferi. Even if he truly wasn't it felt like he was breathing down her neck. Her pencil held hand trembled with memories from the night before where she'd seen the Incubus in his true form. Mr. Vantas walked over to his desk to retrieve a textbook, all the while keeping an eye on Eridan. Of course it was all in good fun for Eridan. Slowly opening up the textbook and flipping through the pages, stopping on one particular sheet. "Class, 9pen up y9ur text699ks t9 page 229." This was going to be a long period.
~le timeskip thank you all my time players~
As soon as the bell rang on the speakers, the priest wasted no time on getting out of there. Running like hell fire seared under his feet. Sollux stood up straight from his desk, it was clear the Gemini was infuriated with him in which Eridan shrugged off like he was innocent little angle. But anyone who knew of his true identity could damn well say otherwise, even he himself knew he was far from that. Once Sollux left the classroom with the devil hot on his heals he pulled Eridan to the side and out of sight. "Are you fuckiing kiiddiing me?" "Wwhat?" Eridan posed his hand under his chin pretending to be clueless. "You know damn well what you were doiing back there!" As Sollux scolded him he simply rolled his eyes. "You're NOT my father Sol, plus, I havve no idea wwhat you're talking about." Eridan's voice grew higher in pitch as he finished his sentence, trying to play it off like he was pure as snow. "No, he is not your father but I am." A deep, sultry voice stopped Eridan in his tracks. A heinous grin spread across the demons lips like a plague, quickly spinning around on his heal Eridan met the eyes of his father. Dualscar had a much lighter presence then Eridan, it always made Sollux feel a bit more calm when his class period came along. "It is a great shame you bring upon your family the way you waste your life and...your body." Dualscar spit those last to words like the forbidden fruit. Eridan's fiendish smile only widened. "You seem vvery quick to judge me, but wwhat are you doing here?" His father almost snapped, his fists clenching. "I was sent here to protect him from you." Dualscar said in ire. "Oh wwell wwould you look at that Sol, you'vve got a little guardian angle to wwatch ovver you! Looks like you still servve some purpose even though your soul belongs to me. Too bad this one's a good for nothing cowward wwho's only followwed orders his entire life!" Eridan mocked him. Dualscar's face livid with wrath.
He could do it. He could banish the demon right now if he wanted to. He had the power. He nows he does. But how could he? How could he harm his child that every time he gave even the slightest thought to saw the image of his little baby boy, the sweetest most darling little babe in his life. Dualscar suddenly backed down from him. "Heh, cowward indeed." Eridan teased him. Grabbing Sollux's wrist he went to leave when his father's voice rang out to him again. "He still loves you." The words stopping him in his tracks. "His little angl-" "DONT....you dare say that..." Eridan seethed with outrage. "Dont you dare." With that he dragged Sollux away with the utmost force, bumping into people as Eridan sped through the crowd. "Woah-hey!" Sollux stopped him, Eridan remained indignant. "Wwhat?!" His fury drawing attention to them Sollux pulled him into a hallway. "What wa2 all that?" "Nothing!" "No that wa2 mo2t certaiinly 2omethiing and you've got no choiice becau2e II'm takiing you to church on 2unday anyway2 for that liittle 2tunt you pulled iin fiir2t periiod." Eridan grunted. "That's not fair!" "Oh Ye2 iit ii2, 2top tryiing to ruiin my liife." "That's my job Sollux!" "2top yelliing you iidiiot." "Look, all you need to knoww is that I'm a demon, you don't need to get into my back story this isn't a goddamn soap opera." He huffed out a few breaths rather heavily from annoyance. The heat of their conversation dying down each second. "II wont 2top a2kiing untiil you tell me one thiing." Eridan crossed his arms defiantly but awaited his question. "Wwhat?" "Who ii2 your dad, ii2 he a demon?" Eridan shook his head. "No he's not." "Then what ii2 he?" Sollux asked trying to dig deeper but Eridan put up a wall. "I answwered your question, he's not a demon, I'm not answwering anymore."
