After seeing him I wanted to know who he was. His eyes were so capturing and he had flawless skin. He was wearing black jeans and a red shirt that matched his fading red hair. Who is this mystery boy?
I kept thinking about this boy while I carried my basket of food to the cashier and started placing my food down on the counter, still
Staring at the door of the building just hoping that boy would come back inside.
"46,38$ is your total. Would you like a bag?"
The cashier said bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Yes please"
I said giving her a huge smile.
"Are you new around here? I've never seen you around?"
She said, putting my stuff inside the bags. I laughed and handed her 50$.
"Yeah I am! I just moved in yesterday!"
I said and she handed me my change which I placed in my pocket.
"I'm Lennie! Heres my phone number! Text me if you want to hang out!"
She handed me a piece of paper and I grabbed my bags leaving the building after telling her I would do so.
I pushed open the door and walked back out into the warm Australia air. I walked back the way I came, passing by the same beautiful little boutiques. I decided to drop off my things at home and then go take a walk on the beach considering how beautiful the weather was today.
...
I walked along the white sand of the beach as the waves rushed in, just touching my toes as I walked. This is beautiful. I can't believe I'm here in Australia. It's wonderful. The sun was setting which was turning the sky a beautiful mix of pinks and oranges.
I noticed someone sitting on the beach and I decided to approach them. After all I haven't really made friends so why not? I got closer and I saw a somewhat familiar face. There he was. That boy from the store! I got closer and cleared my throat.  He looked up at me and then quickly got up and turned to walk away.
"Wait no! Don't leave!"
I called out to the mystery boy. He stopped and turned around and then walked slowly back towards me with his hands in his pockets and his head down.
"I'm Kayla, I-I'm new here."
I said and he nodded. I want him to say something.
"Didn't I see you in the store today?"
I asked the boy and he looked up at me with a little smile on his face.
"Yeah you did, I'm Michael."
He said and reached out to shake my hand. I accepted.
"Wanna sit?"
He asked me motioning to the sand.
"Sure."
I said with a big goofy smile and sat down next to Michael in the sand.
"So Kayla, tell me about yourself."
He told me with a relaxed sigh as we watched the sunset go down on the horizon.
