Chapter 4

"How was it?" Denzel asks me as I sit at our lunch table. I was late cause I accidentally over slept since I didn't set my alarm clock.

"It was great" I began, "we watched some horror movies since he knows I'm obsessed with them and then he ordered some Chinese food and we ate"

"Aw" he said with twinkly eyes. "He asked about you"

"Aw that's so sweet of him" I say.

"And were you guys texting? Cause he was on his phone most of the class time"

"Yeah, I was telling him that I couldn't go with him today cause me and you were going shopping for the Saint Pablo Tour" I explain. "He wants to go"

"Then he better hurry cause those tickets are disappearing quickly. He'll probably have to get a ticket at the top and stand with us. That's what some of my other friends do when we go to concerts" he says and I text Jidenna and tell him that. He writes 'okay' and that he'll do that.

"He's gonna do that" I tell Denzel and he shakes his head.

"Oh god. Now instead of feeling like a grown man, I'm going to feel like a little kid on a school trip" he says and I chuckle a little.

"Oh shut up!" I lightly hit his arm. "You won't feel like a little kid. Jidenna is actually very exciting"

"You're talking about his dick"

I gasped. "No! I actually haven't" I said lowering my voice at the end.

"No?!"

"Yes. I'm not like you" I argue and he doesn't seemed phased by it.

"Well, you're missing out" he says and I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. How are you and your boo?" I ask, changing the subject.

He rolls his eyes.

"Trouble in paradise?"

"He's just so annoying! He's always getting me stuff and he gets jealous quite easily" he explains and I laugh.

Denzel hates guys like that. He feels like he's trapped and can't do anything.

"Looks like you got yourself a Jidenna"

"He gets jealous?" He asked in a somewhat shocked way.

"Yeah. Remember when I told you about Oli? The guy I became friends with at Punta Cana and how we would hang out and Jidenna didn't approve cause he was jealous? Little did he know that Oli had a boyfriend"

He bursted into laughter. "Omg, yes! I totally remember that and they almost got into a fight" he couldn't stop laughing. "That shit was hilarious"

"No it wasn't. It was horrible. Oli stopped talking to me. But thank god I reconnected with him before I left"

"True. He was actually cool. Remember when you guys FaceTimed me and I was butt naked?" I nodded. "Good times"

"You know he goes both ways?"

"No!"

"Yes!"

My phone buzzed and I looked at the screen. "Speaking of Oli, he just texted me"

"Girl, face time him"

I went on FaceTime and called him. After 2 rings he picked up.

"Oliver!" Denzel and I said in unison.

"Hey guys" he says happily. "Omg, you guys look super different"

"I know we glo'd perfectly" Denzel says and I roll my eyes cause I know he was mainly talking about himself.
