Crashes of metal against metal and shouting. Not a very highly requested alarm. But it was suddenly mine in what I was assuming was the basement of the government's building.

My body was still burning from yesterday, my chest especially, when I forced open my exhausted eyelids. I had allowed my body to fall asleep and it was not happy about having to wake up before it wanted to. Thanks body. Like I want to have to deal with the people that made you this tired in the first place.

The steel door to my room was thrown unceremoniously against the wall to reveal a black haired mad man. It looked like every inch of his body was made up of huge muscles. If that wasn't intimidating enough he had a crazed hyper look in his eyes, like that of a kid that had just reached the peak of a sugar high. He was wearing nothing but a skin tight muscle shirt and running shorts, both adding shadow to the edges of his muscles. Just how much did this guy work out? Or did he just breath steroids instead of oxygen?

"So you're the new meat? You're pretty young, but that just means you have more potential

"So you're the new meat? You're pretty young, but that just means you have more potential.", his words sounded like they were trying to run past each other, them all coming out so quick it took me a second to figure out what he had said. By the time I had he had rushed over to where I leaned against my elbows and was pulling me out into the hallway.

"Potential? For what? What the heck is going on?", I sputtered out, wincing at his bone crushing grip on my still sore shoulder. There was a group of men and only a few women standing in the hallway. Most of them were nearly as muscular as the black haired man and had the same blank faces as the guards. The others had bruises on their faces much like mine and looked, if possible, more exhausted than me. The black haired muscle smacked my back hard enough to make me stumble to the edge of the odd group. I got a few wary glances from the few with emotions but the blank faced didn't break their stares on the muscle. I turned toward him to see if he had anything useful to say.

"Ok everyone. We have a new recruit so I will be going a little easier today. But don't get used to it. We'll have to make up for it tomorrow.", his voice rang out in the otherwise silent hallway, his hands on his hips and his chest pushed forward in confidence. He turned his head down a little to look me in the eye before continuing.
