Chapter 12
Jocis POV

I got in my mom's van and drove to Lizzys house as fast as I could. I got there and jumped out. She was already outside and Zack was sitting in the passenger seat of her Jeep. I guess we were leaving. She shot me "the glance" and I knew something was up. I jumped in the back seat of the car and we drove off. She was driving abnormally fast. She always drive fast but not this fast. Zack had to make her pull over and take a few deep breaths for a minute to calm her down so we wouldn't crash.

I finally got up the nerve to ask what was going on. Lizzy and Zack glanced at each other and finally Zack said "Seth was driving to see you and he swerved to miss a dog and hit a telephone pole. The telephone pole fell down on top of his car. He is currently in a coma with a broken wrist, a broken hip, and shoulder. They don't know when he's going to wake up, or if he's going to wake up." I looked over and saw Lizzy was in full tears. Zack looked concerned and made her switch seats with him. I started to cry too. Zack put his arm around Lizzy and tried to comfort her. I sat in the back sobbing too at the thought of my Seth being gone.
