Jocis POV

The romance was over. I didn't feel the same with him. It wasn't the same spark. We had a good 4 years. It just wasn't the same. I was a freshman in college. I went to Florida and he stayed in California. I rarely saw him. He never called anymore. He didn't answer my texts. I felt like he found another.

Two semesters went by and then I finally saw him. I didnt see the same him. He was different. He had changed. He looked the same but I knew he changed. He looked me on the eyes and kissed me without saying a word. Even the kiss wasn't the same. He pulled me aside and I knew something was wrong.

"Jocelin, I loved you. I loved you for so long. It was amazing. But the romance is over now. I will always care about you, but in a different way. I'm sorry Jocelin, but I'm breaking up with you." My heart broke. I could feel it sinking in me. My first love. My only love for so long. It was over.
