Dr. Kiara

Same day, city Wealseuf.

Stanley Bing was sitting in the OPD room, sad and lonely waiting for a doctor to come up and examine his progress after appendectomy last year. He was sad because he could not reach Geneva SHQ meeting last year and now, his discovery of antibodies against bat antigens was rejected once again. He could hear two people talking outside the room near the door.
" wait how can you say that she is fit for him?" a lady yelled.
"Come on Alersye! you know how Joane is ...they both deserve each other, you must focus on your residency, intern exams are next month okay!"
After about fifteen minutes, Kiara entered the room along with Alersye still discussing about Joane's girlfreind.

"okay now leave for a while I have a patient to look" Kiara gestured
Alersye to proceed outside the room. She gave a sad look to Kiara, wanting to discuss more and left the room after smiling at Stanley who was watching them interestingly.

"good morning Dr. Stanley. How are you feeling now?" Kiara began.

"oh, it's all okay. I am just worried about this pain in my back, can you have a look at it? Seems like some kind of referral pain it is." Stanley said.

" let me have a look at it then, could you lay down here on your belly for me please."

" yeah sure" Stanley turned his back towards Kiara. She begun to examine from his lower part of back moving upwards.
"is there anything you feel like pain?"
" not till now" Stanley answered.
She kept palpating his back and tapping for any internal organ diseases  Suddenly a red swelling came on her field of examination on Stanley's right side of back just above the shoulder.
"Dr. Stanley, did you got injured recently?" Kiara asked him while looking at it without touching it or pulling the shirt up.
"not of I remember!"
"would you mind if look at your shoulder? I think there is something I might get help from" Kiara requested
"not at all, you may" Stanley permitted.

She pulled up the shirt to have a better view of the swelling. She was surprised by the way it looked. There were two round brown colored scars which were surrounded by red skin area hot to touch. Stanley stared at the door thinking something serious, while Kiara examined him. "This looks like it's infected doctor!" Kiara observed. "May I know what caused this?" 

"Well, that's a really old scar, few years back I was bitten by-" standley stopped realizing he might reveal about his past. 

"bitten by what doctor? a snake?" Kiara inquired.

"Oh no, it was this, uh-uh....well I got injured by a fork, some body attacked me few years ago, no big deal!" Stanley came up with something. Kiara still was not convinced by him, she continued to find out the cause of his back pain and prescribed him some pain-killers after confirming well healed scar of his appendectomy.

"something's fishy with him, was he attacked by the breeds?" Kiara murmured to herself. She was about to call another patient, then Stanley entered the room closed the door and stood in front of her, with a question on his face, eager to say something, trying to hide some fact.

"yes doctor, is everything alright?"

"no, I mean yes, all I wanted to ask you about is that, I want to find information about a patient. A girl child, she was admitted here long ago. It's important, do you think you help me find her?" Stanley asked.

"well, what is her name? I may go and check the register, iff I am allowed to do so for you"

"It's umm...I remember her last name, yes, it's Getler, she was I think 3-4 years old when she came here." Stanley replied immediately looking for hope. This sentence clicked something in Kiara. Was he talking about Kiara herself? Because she was one too to get admitted in Lim's hospital many years ago.

"o-okay, and what year was she here?" Kiara asked doubtfully however the answer was what she had expected, " well, 2093 or so. a-and yeah she had a birth mark on her neck, may be that be mentioned in the records." Stanley quickly replied, his eyes sparked with hopes and expectations that he might find her.

Kiara stood expressionless in the room while Stanley looked at her for any answer. 

"doctor, are you talking about me? I am Kiara Getler, I was admitted in this hospital when I was three and I have a tattoo on my neck!" Kiara replied after sometime.

Stanley stared at her as if he would take her at the moment with him, while Kiara was still standing there afraid about why would he want her.

"oh my...it's you! yeah of course it's you! Ramsay told me he knew her, oh my god how could've i miss that!" Stanley held his head in excitement and impatience, he rushed towards her and the moment he was going to hold her hand, Kiara took a step behind, hold a syringe in her hand from the table she was leaning on and pointed it to Stanley in self defense, unknown of the facts Stanley knew about.

"Kiara, it's okay, we need you, you can save us. Please come with me!" Stanley requested.

"you said Ramsay, what about him. How do you know him? What are you guys upto and why do you wanted to find me?" Kiara started her inquiry.

"he must have told you about your father Kiara, Dr. Watson...you know about him?" Kiara nodded. " I am his brother, Dr. Stanley Bing. After he died, I was the one who was looking after his work. I make the antiBat serum, and It was me who asked them to kidnap you for the trial because your body is 75% human Kiara, it's stronger than anyone who can tolerate those antigens and fight them off. I needed to confirm that, I need your serum to prepare more of it. You can save our country, your body is capable of it!" Stanley explained.

"why would I trust you?" 

Stanley showed her a picture of Ramsay, Louise and himself in the SHQ.

"will you come with me now? please?" Stanley asked her again.
