Chapter 18

After I had pulled away from Nash we sat in silence the rest of the way to wherever we were going. The van jerked to a stop causing me to practically fly into Nash's lap. He smirked at me and then wrapped his hands around my waist.

"Well hello there Maylee, glad you decided to come over." He winks at me and my eyes get wide. Why does he have to be so- I interrupt my own thoughts, coming to my senses that I was still on his lap. I tried to get up but he pulled me back down. I tried again and he pulled me back down.

"Nash just let go!" I yell at him. The door to the van slides open, Nash chuckles at me and then releases his hold on me. I crawl off and slide partly to the door till I realize Joeys there. He smirks at me as I stop sliding and I swallow any smart remark I had rising to the surface of my vocal chords.

"What are we doing?" I ask. I hear Nash chuckle from behind me and I turn and glare at him.

"We, sweat heart are at a gas station. I greatly suggest you listen and be a good girl..." Joey says. He takes his gun out of his pocket and leans in the van and points it right at my stomach. "Do I make myself clear?" I nod my head in answer. I knew I wouldn't try anything with Joey around like I did with Nash. Joey wouldn't think twice about killing me... He just would.

"Put the gun away stupid." Nash says in a tone like he's bored. Joey mumbles something under his breath, that I didn't catch. He shoves his gun in his jacket again, and reaches in the van and grabs my arm. I try to wiggle out of his grip and manage to do so. Only to jump back into Nash.

"That's not being a good girl may," Nash whispers in my ear in a steady hushed voice. Sounding as if we're playing hide and seek like I always did as a kid, and he was telling me a secret hiding place were you would never be found.

"Oh Maylee you don't learn quick do you?" Joey inquires. I roll my eyes at this. Does he not get that I don't like him!?

"Hey May? Are you going to get off my lap or am I going to have to make you?" My eyes got wide as I look down and realized I was in fact sitting on Nash. I face palmed myself and rushed off his lap which caused slight chuckles to escape both Nash and Joeys lips.

"Get out..." Joey utters through his teeth, as he grabs for my arm again. I don't pull away this time, knowing I would just make him more huffy with me. He practically drags me out, as I try to resist somewhat. He lifts me out of the van and onto the ground, not that I needed his help at all. "Don't move!" Joey pronounces to me and only me, as he forces my face near his. I pull back not wanting to be in anyway that close to him. Nash comes up behind me and compresses my shoulders together. I step away not wanting to be close to him either.

"Do we really have to go through this May? Don't pull away from me." He steps even close to me and grabs my arm, spinning me around so I was forced to look at him, or the ground with isn't that many option. I tilt my head an look at the ground not wanting to have to look into his vivid eyes that, seem like they could cause me pain while his delectable lips told me he wouldn't. Can you say confusing?

"Look at me." Nash says in the bored tone again. I don't look up right away and because of this he place his arm around my waist and leans into my ear.

"Alright you two save it for later," Joey says seeing that me and Nash were so close. Not that I even wanted to be. My face turns bright red with embarrassment. Seeing my face Nash smirks at me and Joey laughs a little. I turn to my left and glare at Joey.

"Don't glare at me," he orders. Coming over and grabbing my arm forcing me to walk. I bite my tongue to keep from saying anything, but let me tell you it takes a lot of freakin self control! "Okay this is the plan everyone. You..." Joey says pointing to me. "Are on a road trip with your brothers..." He now points to Nash and then to himself. "And I swear if you cause any problems, your dead. Do I make myself clear?" I nod my head as we turn the corner and enter the gas station. As we walk in I can tell that we're not in Colorado anymore which scares me a lot. I turn around and look at a sign above the door that says; Arizona Gas Station. I gasp and Nash and Joey both look at me. I mouth 'sorry' and Joey walks away shaking his head.
