Chapter 27
I laid still for what was feeling like hours. I woke up on the couch, my head on Nash's lap. Don't get me wrong I didn't like it I would have totally preferred my pillow at home, or any pillow for that matter but seeing as that really wasn't an option... The guys were still asleep spread out on the couches and floor. Nash's arm was draped on me his hand resting on my hip. I was laying on my opposite hip. I flipped myself over causing his hand to fall on my stomach. I slipped off the couch then looking around making sure I didn't wake anyone up. I ran to the bathroom first and after I was done there I ran to the kitchen. I grabbed some snacks out of the cabinet and stuffed them in my sweatshirt pocket. I tiptoed to the door and turned the knob slowly. I knew that running away probably wasn't a good idea, I couldn't run to one of the neighbors. The guys would just shoot them. I swung open the door and admired the outside that I hadn't seen in a while.
When I stepped on to the porch I knew I really shouldn't run, but I had too. So I did. I sprinted out the door leaving in open as I ran. I reached the side walk and kept going my shoes thumping slightly with my pounding steps. In know time I was turning left as I started to slow down, I leaned against a wall of the house on the corner. I looked back at the house to see the guys all running after me, way to crush my dreams. How did they wake up already? Most guys sleep to like 11 o'clock! I started to run again look behind me to see how close they were and in doing so I ran into what felt like a wall.
"What the he-" I cut myself off as I turned and looked at a group of guys that looked about my age. I realize I am pressed up against the mystery man and try to step back but he wraps his hands around my waist keeping me there. "Let the f-"
"So what is a beautiful girl like you doing out here all by yourself?" The guy holding me asked, cutting me off.
"Get the h*** away from me!" I screamed. I really didn't have time for this and new now that I would be caught.
"Oh your feisty. I think we're going to have a good time with you." The guy said as they all smirked.
"Let go!" I screeched. The with his arm around my waists face was red with anger I'm sure. He flung me back against the wall of the house, two guys held my arms against the wall while two stood in front of me.
"Shut up! Would you?" Red face man yelled in my face. I tried to wiggle away but it was pretty much impossible. I have the worst luck in the world! Red face put his hand on my shoulder and started to tail down my arm. A couple tears escaped my eyes where were the neighbors when you needed them. Where was Nash when I needed him.
"Nash!" I scream as loud as I possibly can which by the way was really loud. The guys let go of me when thumping feet fill our ears. Run away or run to Nash? Run away or run to Nash? I let out a loud sign and knew I would regret this choice but I didn't care. I ran the way I had come causing the unknown guys to shout and run after me. I turned the corner running right into Nash. He grabbed my arm and pushed me to the ground, kneeling down by me.
"What the h*** May?" Nash yelled at me as mystery guys rounded the corner. Joey, Tanner, Adam, And Sam all looked up, but Nash's harsh gaze stayed on me.
"Is that your b**-" I cut mystery man red face off. Nash pulled me by my arm and pushed me in front of him putting his hands on my hips.
"Hey!" I yelled and gave red face the finger. He glared at me as his friends all smirked. I got out of Nash's grip and walked up to red face. I had to get away I was surly dead if I didn't.
"What the h*** do you think you were doing to her?" Nash asked stepping up next to me. " Just get out of here!" Nash yelled. They mystery guys mumbled some not so nice words as the past. I was in the back and took the chance. I turned around and I ran again. Yeah maybe I would have been hurt if Nash wasn't there but I still couldn't stay here I need to find my sister. The guys were shouting at me from behind, they were getting close but I ran faster...
~twenty minutes later~
I was still running when I realized that I couldn't see the guys behind me. I had lost them. I turned down an alley and sat down to rest. My breathing was fast and I had a hard time calming myself down. I finally did and decide maybe I should keep going, when I heard a scream. I stood up slowly and crept down the alley. I know how people always say don't got toward the scream but I had to. I came to a door and opened it slowly, being careful not to make any noise. I walked inside and wanted to walk right back out. The place was dark and gloomy, there was mold all over the place and looked like it had been abandon. My steps echoed as I walked coming closer an closer to the sound.
"Someone please help me!" A tiny voice rang out. I made a sprint to where I heard it not really knowing what I would see when I got there. "Please..." They trailed out and I stopped right in front of a door with four locks. This has to be the place I think to myself. My heart started to race again as I tried to figure out what to do, there was someone begging for help and I was here I could help. I took my Bobbie pin out of my hair and stuck it in the first lock. I put everything I had into trying to get that lock open and when it finally did I fist pump the air. I do the next three locks and swing the door open reveling a little girl... A little girl that even though she had bruised on her face and blood dried on her arms, I still knew who this little girl was I knew that I had done what I said I would do. I have found my sister.
